Piper picked up on the third ring.

"Hey Beth!" She almost yelled.

"Pipes! How's Paris?"

"It's amazing!" She gushed.

"I bet it is," I wished I was there too.

"I miss you," Piper said.

"I miss you too," I said.

"I'm sorry," We said at the same time.

We started laughing. Now I knew why Piper was my best friend. She's amazing.

We talked for about three hours, before she had to go for lunch and I had to go to bed.

"I'll call tonight," she promised. "Same time."

I nodded and hung up, able to fall asleep, knowing Piper and I are friends again.

<<Morning>>

I woke up at six thirty, not feeling even a bit fatigued.

I got dressed in a light purple shirt that was tied at my belly button and blue jeans that were slightly ripped at the knees. I grabbed my homework that was on my desk and my handbag. I walked downstairs feeling happier than I ever had.
