Saturday 10:15 PM

Taking out the trash at 10 PM, you knew it was a bad idea, but it had to be done, the trash was full and it was starting to stink up the house. The past few days since your mom was attacked you hadn’t left the house, but if you did you never went too far. You tried filing for home intrusion but there was no evidence of any break-ins, so they called it off, and it infuriated you. You peeked out from the door at first, then you quickly trotted over to the garbage bin, throwing the trash bag over your shoulder. Wiping your hands of dirt, you took one last glance down the street, seeing a figure in the darkness you panicked like a child seeing the boogeyman, you bolted for the door and shut it behind you, locking the door. It was probably just your imagination, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. After a while of watching a bit of TV with Suka on your lap, you grew tired and went to bed.

Sunday 2 AM

You woke up unconsciously in the middle of the night, rolling over to look at your alarm, it read 2:01 AM, you sighed softly as you rolled out of bed, slowly walking down the stairs and feeling the wall for the light switch. As you flicked on the light you heard something from the living room and went over to investigate, thinking it was just Suka messing around. Your heart started pounding when you saw him emerge from the darkness. William Afton was in your house.

You nearly screamed, you nearly punched him in the face! You spun in a quick circle, hoping you’d feel differently about this situation when you came back to face him, you didn’t know what you were feeling, but he seemed so panicked, how could he be the one who’s panicked? “What the hell are you doing here?!” You scream-whispered, trying not to wake your mom upstairs. He slowly took a step towards you, an obviously distraught expression on his face. “I came here to warn you.” You took a moment to look at him, he seemed tired, it looked as if he hadn’t showered in a few days. “You.. didn’t walk all the way here, did you?” You asked, still a little on edge in his presence. He averted his gaze briefly. “I.. May have, walked some distance.” He spoke quietly, you let out a quiet huff, crossing your arms. “You shouldn’t be here, if my mom wakes up she’ll call the cops, and if you stay any longer i’ll do it for her.” You remarked quite harshly, still trying to stay quiet. “I will but I need to tell you-” He was interrupted by a loud bark, both you and William jumped a little looking towards the stairs, Suka was perched in an aggressive stance, at four months old she wasn’t much of a little puppy anymore, as her hackles raised and her teeth bared, she wasn’t usually this aggressive, but maybe she knew that you were stressed and thought this man had something to do with it. “Suka, shh!” You attempted to shush her, she whimpered a little in confusion as she hopped down the stairs towards you, you crouched to greet the pup, stroking her gently. “It’s ok, he won’t hurt us.” She calmed down a bit, trotting over to her water bowl, occasionally looking back at you and William as you stood up. “What did you want to tell me?” You asked impatiently, finding it difficult to look him directly in the eyes. “I came here to warn you, y/n. That kid you were talking about, what was his name?” He asked, looking deeply into your eyes, it made you a little uncomfortable. “Tyler.” You said a little suspiciously. “Yes! He followed you here, that’s why I came.” He said in a slightly panicked tone. “William, its been two years, I would have known if he followed us. Are you sure that’s the only reason you came?” You pulled your head back slightly as your eyebrows furrowed in suspicion. “I..” He sighed in frustration. “I came to apologize. For everything.” He took a small and slow step forward, trying not to spook you. “I know what I did was terrible, and.. i’ve spent so much time trying to think of how to make it up to you. But.. I know I never can.” He almost reached out, but stopped himself and sighed. “I’d lock your doors if I were you, if i’ve learned anything about that boy, he won’t stop until he gets what he wants.” He said as he left out the back door, leaving you with more thoughts than you could handle.
