Chapter 2

Friday 8:52 AM

You sprung out of bed early in the morning as you turned your alarm off before it could even sound out. You quickly got dressed and ran downstairs, your mom laughed softly. "What's the rush?" You were out of breath as you sat down at the table. "Today is an exciting day!" Your mom chuckled softly. "Ah right, don't be too excited now we don't officially know if they're going to be open today." You took a moment to catch your breath as you ate breakfast and packed your bag for school. Since you had about ten minutes until the bus came you sat at the table with your mom as she browsed for available jobs. It was silent until you spoke up. "Hey mom?" She looked up from the computer. "Yes honey?" You folded your arms on the table. "At Freddy's, was there a uh.. A man who wears a purple outfit?" You looked at her and wait for a response, she seemed uneasy by the question as she looked back to the computer screen. "I.. I don't believe so." You knew she was lying, but she was uncomfortable so you decided not to push her. You sighed as you stood up and kissed her on the cheek, grabbing your backpack and putting your shoes on. "Bye mom, love you." She looked up with a slight smile on her face. "Love you too baby." You walked outside and closed the door behind you as you walked to the bus stop. Once it arrived you got on and sat next to Lily and she immediately started talking to you. "Morning y/n! I've got some news for ya! Okay so the guy you asked me about last night, I did a little bit of research and found out that his name is William Afton, apparently he designs some of the animatronics. But.. I saw an article about you.." Her tone softened as you looked at her with a curious expression. "What do you mean?" She rubbed her neck. "Eh.. maybe I can tell you later?" You sighed softly. "Okay sure." She changed the topic to try to lighten the mood. "So the good news is that Tyler finally broke up with Celia! But the bad news is that he won't stop talking about you and now Celia hates your guts." You sighed. "Eh, don't worry about it, she couldn't touch me if I stole her thousand dollar necklace." The two of you snickered and chuckled while silently making up goofy names for Celia as you giggled like school girls. When the bus stopped at the school you and Lily made your way into the school and to your lockers. As you unlocked your locker and started to open it Celia slammed it shut with an angered expression plastered to her face. "Hey loser, did you come back just so you could steal my boyfriend from me?" Lily closed her locker and stood up to Celia. "Oh Celia you know that Tyler was just using you, he cheats on you all the time, why else do you think he hangs out with other girls?" Celia scoffed. "Pfft, yeah right, for all I know you and y/n could still be infected." Lily was getting angry. "Hey! Unless you want a broken nose I advise you to back the heck up!" Celia was taken back as she took a step back. "Wh-whatever! I don't want to waste my time talking to infected losers like you anyway!" She walked off as Lily huffed. "Man, she is a totally burnt biscuit." You chuckled nervously. "Yeah. What was she talking about us being.. Infected?" Lily sighed and placed a hand on your shoulder. "I'll tell you another time, for now it's time for some hardcore learning." You went to your classes and the day passed by, until lunch came.

You sat down at a round table with some of the friends you had from elementary school, there was Matthew who was a jokester and usually stood up for you and the others. Max who was very smart and kind but occasionally shy. Jessie who is dating Max is an outgoing girl, she plays on the soccer team and occasionally makes inappropriate jokes that Lily always made sure she didn't finish them, Nellie who was a confident smaller girl with long black hair that went down to her upper back, and finally there was Lily, your best friend who stood up for you since the day you met her and loves to cheer you up, sharing pretty much everything with you, she had only cussed once before in her entire life which was when she fell down the stairs and said the 'f' word. You started eating your lunch as your friends asked you about the other house you lived in and shared news of what happened since you had left. Mat started to speak in a soft tone. "Hey y/n, do.. Do you rem-" Lily interrupted him. "Mat.. she doesn't remember." Their expressions softened. You looked around at your friends in confusion, what were they talking about? What was going on? What did you not remember? "What are you talking about?" You questioned. Lily looked around at everyone for confirmation, she turned to you. "William Afton.. Was.." Before she could finish her sentence the bell rang and everyone returned to class, you shook off the thought as you continued with your day.
