Chloe’s POV (engagement ring under external link!)
Today is Michael and I’s two year anniversary. (A/N: Let’s pretend they’ve been together for two years.) We’ve been through a lot of shit and people are surprised we’re still together after all the shit Michael put me through. Most people would have ran after they went through rehab, but I’m not most people. Tonight was a big awards show for them, so Michael and I celebrated our anniversary yesterday.
I was currently getting my hair done by Nicki. Brianna and Kaitlyn were doing my makeup. I had already put my dress, shoes, and jewelry on. Once I was finished, I look in the mirror.
“Wow, Michael won’t be able to take his off of you!” Nicki exclaims excitedly.
We finish getting ready and head downstairs. The guys mouths all hang open as we walk down the stairs and over to them. Michael wraps his arm around my waist and we head out to dinner.

We step out onto the red carpet and the paps immediately begin taking picture. We all take pictures together before the boys are whisked off to do interviews.
“Babe, why don’t you head inside with the other girls. I’ll meet you in there once we are done out here.” Michael shouts over the commotion.
I give him a quick kiss and head inside with Nicki, Bri, and Kate. We take our seats and wait for the guys to come take their seats.

“And the award goes to... 5 Seconds of Summer!” Mila Kunis announces.
I give Michael a quick kiss before he runs to catch up with the boys.
“Oh wow, this is amazing! We would like to thank our management team, our families, and of course, our amazing fans. We wouldn’t anywhere without any of you. Thank you all for voting and believing in us.” Ashton speaks.
“I would also like to thank everyone, including my amazing girlfriend, Chloe Rosewood. I know I’ve put everyone through hell with my stunt I pulled a while ago. I essentially broke up my band and everyone stuck by me and believed I would get better. And I did! I couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who has gotten me here today. I’m so sorry to everyone I’ve hurt, I will spend the rest of my life thanking you all for everything. Chloe, I will spend the rest of my live thanking you for saving me. You gave me the wake up call I needed to get better and I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. I couldn’t imagine living in a world without you.” Michael says.
He motions me up to the stage, “Chloe Rosewood, I put you through hell. You went through hell and back for me, but still never gave up on me. I am incredibly thankful for every morning that I wake up next to you. I took you for granted, but I will never do that again. I almost lost you once, but never again. You have incredibly supportive and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. You stuck by me through rehab and forgave me for all my mistakes, even though I don’t deserve your forgiveness. You have a big heart and learned to love all my flaws. I couldn’t ask for a better girlfriend than you. I know I’ve screwed up in the past and I will screw up in the future, but I never want to lose you again. I want to be with you forever!” He says.
He pulls a box out of his pocket and gets down on one knee, “Chloe, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?” He asks.
I shake my head rapidly, “Yes!” I mumble.
He gets up and slips the ring on my finger. He picks me up in his arms, spinning me around. He then sets me down and crashes his lips on mine. We both smile into the kiss and slowly pull away.
“Let’s give a round of applause for the newly engaged couple, Michael Clifford and Chloe Rosewood everyone!” Ashton’s voice booms through the stadium.
I hear clapping and cheers. I can’t stop smiling, I was just too happy. We go back to our seats as the continue on with the awards show. Michael immediately pulls out his phone and I see he’s on twitter. I turn my attention back to the awards show and my phone buzzes.

He leans in until he’s an inch from my lips, “Thank you!” He whispers, before pressing his lips to mine.
I start giggling, giddy with this loving feeling inside me. We watch the rest of the awards show and head to the after party.

Throughout the after party, people come up to us and congratulate us. We decide to leave early, telling the others they’d have to catch a cab. We head back to the hotel and celebrate in our way (while we can).
