**2 Weeks Later**
Nicki's POV
I was hanging out with Ash today. He hasn’t been feeling that well the past week, so I was at the hotel room taking care of him while the others were out exploring. They were supposed to leave to go back on tour with One Direction tomorrow, so today was their last day on break.
I was currently in the kitchen, making some chicken noodle soup. I hear a pained scream come from Ash’s room.
I drop everything, turn off the stove, and run to his room.
He was laying in his bed, screaming in pain. I rush over to him and help him out to the car. I speed to the hospital and they admit him right away. I sit in the waiting room, waiting for some news about Ash.
Chloe’s POV
Mikey, Luke, Cal, and I were shopping around when I got a call from Nicki.
“Hey you!” I greet her, laughing.
“Chloe, something’s happened!” She says concerned.
“Nicki, what’s wrong?” I ask worriedly.
The others turn around, concerned.
“It’s Ash, he’s in the hospital.” She says.
“What?!? Why the hell is Ash in the hospital? What the hell happened?” I ask, starting to panic.
The boys look at me with wide eyes.
“I don’t know. He was in a lot of pain, so I rushed him to the hospital. The doctor hasn’t come to talk to me yet.” She say, sounding like she’s about to cry.
“Okay, we’re on our way!” I tell her, hanging up.
“What’s going on?” Mikey asks.
“Nicki had to take Ash to the hospital. Apparently he was in a lot of pain. The doctors haven’t told her anything yet, she told me she’s still waiting for news on his condition.” I told them.
“Let’s go!” Luke says.
We run to the car and rush to the hospital. Once we get there, we run inside where Nicki is waiting.
“I’m gonna post a twitlonger on the band account.” I announce.
Mikey told me the password and I start tweeting.
@5SOS: Hey guys, as you may have heard, Ash has been admitted to UCLA Medical Center here in LA. We do not know of his condition yet. All we know is that Nicki rushed him to the hospital and that he was in a lot of pain. Until we find out what’s going on, we will most likely not be touring with One Direction. :( We will keep you updated as soon as we hear more. Keep thinking of Ash and keep him in your prayers! :) -Chloe x
I get several replies from fans. I don’t bother reading them, I’ll let the boys read them. We see a doctor walk out and we all stand up.
“Are you all here for Ashton Irwin?” He asks.
“Yes.” I reply.
“Well, it seems he has appendicitis. His appendix was about to burst. If you had brought him in any later, he probably would not have made it. He is in surgery right now and should be expected to make a full recovery.” He says.
“Thank you so much, doctor.” I say.
“Just doing my job.” He tells me, walking off.
“Shit, we need to call his parents.” I say.
I take Mikey’s phone and dial his parents number.
A: Hello Mikey.
C: Hi, my name is Chloe. I’m a friend of Ashton’s. I’m sorry, but Ashton is in the hospital.
