"Nope, get out."

Clary's eyes formed into slits as Gregory shook his head before his eyes fell upon her. Anger rose upon his face as he pointed a finger directly towards her. "You— I sheltered you and those women you brought, and that was my mistake." The man took a step towards her, causing both Daryl and Carl to get defensive until she held out a hand to stop them. "What are you talking—" the man cut her off. "Don't be as stupid as you were back then. You can't fool me. I know who you are now."

The man approached her, jabbing a finger in her chest, causing Jesus to step forward. "Gregory—" Clary raised a hand towards her friend before facing the man again. "And who told you that?" Clary asked with a tilt of her head, to which Gregory scoffed. "The Saviors. They gave me the wanted poster. And I am sad to say that I remember Solaris, you're old Commander even. Leroy, right? Yeah—" Clary pushed the man back, causing surprise to shadow his face. "His name was Leon. Leon Boswell and he helped you, you son of a—" Clary bit her tongue, knowing Gregory was a man that was easily pissed and that wouldn't help them in their search for fighters. "So now it's your turn to help us. To join us and fight the Saviors."

Clary watched as the man looked at her for a moment before scoffing. "Sorry, Charlotte, but there is no way in hell I'd do that. That is not the deal I agreed to with you. With any of you." Gregory looked at the group as they filled the room. "You people swore you could take the Saviors out, and you failed." Gregory shook his head before looking back to Clary. "But I shouldn't have been surprised, considering Solaris failed too."

Everyone in the room went silent as Clary clenched her jaw, looking at the man with dark eyes. However, everyone grew surprised as she let out a laugh, void of any humor as she looked between Rick, Maggie and Jesus before nodding. "I hope you're able to convince this son of a bitch, because I'm done listening to him talk."

The girl made a move to exit the room, stopping to turn back to the man at the desk. Everyone was silent, watching as she zeroed back onto him. They realized she wasn't done as she made her way over to his desk before leaning against it. "Let's hope your smart enough to take this deal, George." She said with a sharp tone, his eyes widening as she continued. "Or maybe you're about as dumb as you look, and you don't take the deal. Maybe you cower, you hide instead of fight." She leaned closer, the man leaning back in his chair as she got too close for comfort, but she didn't care. "Then your people will finally see that you're nothing but a spineless little dipshit who got lucky." He opened his mouth to speak, only for Clary to turn away and walk out of the doors.

Her legs carried her out of the Barington home, only to stop when she saw Enid gathered with members of the Hilltop. Whispers sounded at her arrival, Enid smiling as she saw her friend before walking up the steps to her. "Enid, what is this?" Enid only smiled before grabbing her arm gently. "The Hilltop doesn't want to serve Negan anymore. They believe in a new future. They believe in us."

As Clary looked away from Enid, she walked down a few steps before a woman stepped forward. "We believe in the Angel of Death." Clary clenched her jaw upon hearing the name, but surprised filled her to see the people of Hilltop not looking at her in fear but rather respect and even trust. "Why?" Clary questioned. "Because you've done what others couldn't imagine. You stood up to the Saviors as a single person and created a name for yourself. You made them fear you. And I think if a single person can do it, why can't we all?"

Clary looked to Enid, a proud smile appearing to which Enid shrugged. "No matter what Gregory says, they'll stand with us. We can't trust him, but we can trust them." Clary looked to the people again before nodding. "You're right, we can. And Maggie should know that." Enid nodded before going inside the home, coming out moments later with the group at her heels.
