"Hey, kid! We got a problem!"

Clary spun towards the door, looking away from Ashton to see Rosita staring down at her from the door to the room. With one last look to Ashton, she was out of the holding cell and following the woman, staying right on her heels. "What's going on?" Rosita shook her head, her jaw clenched. "You're not gonna like it."

Clary had no time to ask what she meant as they approached the front gate, the girl slowing down as she saw a blonde haired man, her people aiming their guns at him. As the man saw her, his eyes widened, but he knew this was the person he needed to see.

With a deep breath, the man bowed his head slightly. "Commander—" he was cut off as the blade of her sword was pressed against his throat. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't slit your throat right where you stand," she snarled, the man meeting her eyes before holding up his hands in defeat. "I want to help." Dwight said plainly, the girl letting out a humorless laugh. "You want to— you better stop the bullshit—" Dwight cut her off. "It's not bullshit. You think I'd come to you, risking my life, if it was?" Clary clenched her jaw, knowing the risks. Dwight was a survivor, and a survivor wouldn't put their life at risk unless it meant something.

"What do you wanna do?"

Dwight was surprised to see as Rosita asked the girl for her command, clenching his jaw as he realized she had gained power here too. They had respect for her in Alexandria, and he would need to earn hers in order to get them to listen.

Dwight's thoughts faded as he heard her cold voice cut through the tension. "Throw him in the cell with the other one." Immediately, Tobin nodded before him and another man grabbed onto Dwight, shoving him forward. "Commander, just listen to me!" Dwight called out, Clary not listening as he moved further away. Rosita made her way closer to the girl, letting out a puff of air. "Well, this day keeps getting better and better." The girl agreed with a sharp breath. "Yeah, no kidding."

Clary's memories faded as she watched Daryl throw Dwight against the wall, aiming a knife to his head. "You wanna end it this way... you go ahead. I'm sorry. I am. I know you want to." Clary moved from her place leaning against the wall, the eyes of everyone in the room following her as she placed a hand on Daryl's shoulder. Before she could calm him down, Rick shook his head. "He could just be here to see if you were here." Clary's eyes flickered to Rick in response, knowing the doubt he'd craft in Daryl's mind would kill their only source.

"We can't trust him," agreed Michonne, causing Clary to shake her head. "He owned me. But not anymore. What I did, I was doing it for someone else. She just got away. So now I'm here." Dwight allowed himself to look straight into Daryl's eyes, his gaze following the knife. "And so are you because of her." Tara took a step forward. "Do it! Daryl, do it!" She yelled, getting dangerously close as Dwight shook his head lightly. "Negan trusts me. We work together, we can stop him. You knew me then, and you know me now. You know I'm not lying."

With one last plead from Tara, Daryl went against her and pulled away, allowing his knife to fall by his side. Clary let out a soft breath she didn't know she had been holding as Rick approached the two. "They have Sasha. That's if she's even alive," Rosita declared, causing Clary to turn to her with wide eyes. Although not having the strongest bond with Sasha, it had been them two that supported each other when taking Maggie to safety. "Why didn't you tell us?" Jesus questioned the woman, turning back to where Dwight stood. "He could be our only chance to get her back." Rosita shook her head in response. "Because I don't trust him. But I trust Daryl."

As silence filled the air, Dwight turned to Rick. "Negan's coming soon. Tomorrow. Three trucks probably. Twenty Saviors and him. I can slow them down, bring some trees down in the road, buy a little time for you guys to get ready. If you can take them out, that's where we start." Rick turned to Dwight, raising an eyebrow that prompted him to continue. "You take them out, I'll radio back to the Sanctuary, it's where Negan lives. I can radio back to them and say everything's okay. You drive the trucks back and I can lead you right inside, and with the right plan, we can wipe out the rest. Check to see if your friend's still alive."
