"W-what?", Hueningkai suddenly asked, astounded by the sudden passive confession. Eyes wide, heart pounding and wordlessly, he looked at the ground below him. Within seconds and he didnt expect his heart to be completely shattered into pieces and with that being said, he was still oblivious why he was feeling this way .
"Are you okay?", Jeongin asked looking at the latter in such way to read his expression.
"O-oh, I-im completely fine. Haha..... so you like S-soobin..", Hueningkai replied wishing he hadnt stuttered terribly.
Jeongin let out a sigh.
"Yeah, I do...should i.. ask him out?, Jeongin asked for the others response, oblivious of the devastating condition of the latter.
Hueningkai knew he had no chance but thrown off into the pit of misery that was all fate had planned for him. He hated it so much. Not only does he know that the chances of Soobin and him getting together are not that high, he could never get together with him even if he had a chance. His mothers apparition had to be the significant cause of Hueningkai ignoring Soobin and the result of that was Jeongin supposing that Hueningkai did not like Soobin and followingly wanting to confess to the bane of Hueningkais existence
"Uh...no, i mean yeah..yes, you should...maybe..or..", Hueningkai struggled to finish his sentence due to the heavy heart he owned at the moment. He mentally slapped himself for feeling this way, feeling jealous, feeling selfish by not wanting Soobin to be shared by anyone bl

"Hueningkai", the familiar voice disrupted his thoughts.
"Whats going on with you?", Jeongin asked
"N-nothing...sure..go ahead..uh..ask him out", Hueningkai said, fingers moist with the damp sweat excreted and he unbeknowingly, started playing with his fingers.
"Do you think he likes...me?", Jeongin asked to the latter who stared into blank space.
"Uh..."
He stood there for a minute not saying a word and Jeongin who couldnt get any more concerned, shook him by the shoulders.
"Hueningkai!! What's wrong??? Why are you being like this", he asked, desperate for a response
"Im fine. Im fine...d-dont worry", Hueningkai broke off into reality
After a moment of analysing the latter, he sighed.
"Yeah", Hueningkai spoke
"Yeah, he totally likes you.", Hueningkai let out a small smile, pain evident in his tone. Its not like he wanted to show it though.
"Oh okay. I just want to find the perfect time to confess....uh...can you...um help me out?", He asked, a wide smile spreading his face. Hueningkai slightly nodded and took a deep breath. In return, he got a hug from Jeongin who thanked him for his assistance.
"Lets do this tomorrow morning?", Jeongin asked
"Y-yeah..."
After the confirmation, Jeongin left the area and Hueningkai stood there dumbfounded
"T-tomorrow morning"

Later in school, Hueningkai wasnt quite sure where to sit because every place he went, he fought the urge back because he was a nervous wreck without Taehyun, Beomgyu and Yeonjun to sit next to him. Quite sooner, he didnt expect himself to be standing in the middle of the cafeteria, his eyes wandering around, keen to find a spot where he was secluded from the throng of pupils.
Not to forget, a specific someone he was avoiding to meet eyes with, and that someone, no sooner, he discovered, had entered the cafeteria, hands in his pocket and a very monotone look planted his face.
Hueningkais breath suddenly hitched as he gripped on his food tray tighter. He glanced at the boy i.e: Soobin shortly, noticing how he was approaching the counter. Hueningkai wasnt exactly standing there but just a few steps away. He quickly turned his head around once he noticed Soobin looking at his direction.
Soobin caught a glance of him, distracted by how tense he looked.
Meanwhile Hueningkai knew he had done it. Doomed and he knew he failed his plan of ignoring the older. Hueningkai took a deep breath and quickly moved away from his spot but just as he could proceed and escape the tension very willingly, a hand held his wrist due to which he was pulled back, but reluctant to face the "person". Even though, he knew who it was. It was Soobin, who had his hand locked around Hueningkais wrist which caused Hueningkai to gasp.
Soobin tugged on his wrist.
"Why are you doing this?", his tone wasn't like the usual soft, delicate tone. It was the intimidating one which Hueningkai, found quite...charismatic
"D-doing what?", Hueningkai ignored the sharp gaze. Soobins hand was still locked around Hueningkais wrist and Hueningkai was too anxious to look at the older in the eyes.
"You know what you're doing. Tell me what I did wrong, please", Soobin pleaded, unable to hold back the inflicted pain he had deep down.
Why should he tell Soobin whats wrong and why hes acting this way? He doesn't deserve to be known. Jeongin likes him, Soobin probably likes him back too..all he has left to do, is help Jeongin confess and his job is done. Afterwards, he can cry about it and let all his tears out because well, its his fate.
"Hueningkai. Answer me.", Soobin ordered, getting impatient of how he had to ask the younger for a valid response.
"L-let go of my wrist Soobin", Hueningkai spoke
"Not until you tell me what I did wrong. Im tired of this Hueningkai, you can't just ignore me"
"Why do you care if im ignoring you or not? And why do you want to start talking to me anyways?", Hueningkai asked, wanting answers and reasons now.
Suddenly, a moment of silence conquered between them and Soobin looked at the floor, unable to get words out of his mouth.
Hueningkai turned back to finally look at Soobin and thats when his eyes widened to find out that a tear had escaped the olders eyes.
He acted like he didnt care. He tried to to be honest, it was a heartbreaking sight. All he wanted to do right now was apologize for everything hes caused the older, tell him whats wrong, hold him in his arms, wipe his tears, kis-
no. he cant.
Hueningkai quickly ran away, rampaging and mentally instable of the thought he just had. He stormed off and all he could think of was go home and think over how stupid hes being and the type of weird, forbidden thoughts he was having.
There was no way he actually liked Soobin. He cant. He should not. He must not.
Not after Jeongin likes him and his mother on the other side, doesn't allow all of this. He knows hes gonna get heartbroken at some point, no wonder its sooner or later.
But he just cant help it,
he figures out that he is helplessly in love with choi soobin
