"You do realise that I have a family too, right?", Chohee spoke as she huffed in frustration

"I-im incredibly sorry but even at the moment, we dont have any cash in our hand. J-just this once, we'll try handling financial problems ourselves next time", Hueningkais mother spoke with profound plea and humble request evident in her tone.

"Fine. I can only help you this last time", Chohee replied

Chohee, her sister lived close by her, married to a husband who wasn't that well-off but earned better than Hueningkais father did. She had been paying off their debts for quite a while now and she was quite fed up now. It wasnt her fault she had to be serving them like this and the only reason she was partly satisfied to offer was because it was her sister who was asking.

When the cash was handed to Hueningkais mother by her sister, guilt aroused her in all the different ways it could. With trembling lips and partly lid eyes, she grabbed the envelope and gently wrapped her arms around Chohee, mumbling a few words under her clothing that sounded like "Just this once" or "Thank you"

When they pulled away, Chohee took a moment to sigh and sit on the chair, looking around for Hueningkai.

"Is he there?", She questioned, looking around for a bit

"Who, Hueningkai?", Hueningkais mother questioned

"Yeah"

"Hes in his room, havent heard from him all day..I guess hes tired", his mother continued, while Hueningkais Aunt stood up towards the staircase to his room.

She knocked lightly, smiling as she heard footsteps approach the door only to reveal a very tired, messy-haired boy whos eyes were blood shot.

"H-hueningkai", She gasped in shock as she approached the latter and proceeded to mess around the boys hair. The latter smiled tiredly in return.

"Hello Aunt Chohee, W-what are you doing here?", He spoke

"I wanted to check on you...come here", She wrapped her arms around the tall boy who returned the hug very favourably. When she broke the hug, she patted his back a few times and spoke.

"Whats wrong? You seem so tired...and your hair is all messy", She huffed.

"I-its nothing", Of course it was something, something that he knew was no worth telling. It was worth hiding, something to be kept confidential from his family. But in the end he thought, despite keeping it hidden, untold, it will bother him, bother him to a point where he will feel the profound need to let someone know about what the fuck is going on between him and soobin...and why was he being so odd about it.

No one should know its his mom, he thinks, who is faulty for such matter and consequences.

"Hueningkai...i need you to take care of yourself alright?", His Aunt suddenly abrupted his thoughts.

"Y-yeah, I will...thank you for everything", Hueningkaid lips slightly curved up.

"No, its ok...Im sorry about your father", She whispered to him, pecking his head gently

"You have helped us in the long run, you still are...so thank you", He replied

After a brief talk and consolation, his aunt exited from his room, giving him some time to think about what had happened at school today and if he was ever gonna forgive himself for it.

Definitely not.

He had no right.

Bashing out on someone for completely no reason? There was a reason though...but Soobin wasnt at fault.

Hueningkai huffed in annoyance as he laid down on the bed, letting the thoughts linger in his head for longer.

To be specific why Soobin had followed him. Hueningkai mentioned he was heading to the washroom but obviously he just wanted room to breathe, to stay away from Soobin. And he hated it most, when Soobin followed him....protected him?

It all confused Hueningkai. It seemed like none of that mattered to Soobin. Whatever happened on "THAT" day, when they were solely very indulged in each others gaze and the world stopped, it all bewildered him.

That just as a matter of fact, proved Hueningkai that Soobin takes him rather platonically and it deflated Hueningkai, made him saddened at the thought that the older couldnt return the feelings.

He didnt want to keep distant from Soobin, they were going so well, Hueningkai longed for those days to come back..but god knows if his mother finds out he is hanging out with someone that she clearly doesnt like, he could only not imagine what could come next. He was genuinely was in the midst of getting fed up. Tired of listening to his mother but he has to, hes forced to.

His mother....yes, sometimes he wished he wasn't being chased, just like his friends, he wishes he had the voice to freely expose his sexuality. But he did, and the outcome was not so satisfying. His mother had raged that day, when he thought it was finally time to let his mother know about his stupid crush that was a boy, his mother was equally displeased and outraged because

"What in the hell are you thinking?!?! No!!! You cant like boys, Hueningkai!!"

Was what his mother blurted out almost immediately.

He thought, its not his choice whether who to like, love just happens...whether its someone you arent willing to like too. He told his mother that, at least he tried to but he dared to listen. She threatened him....

His chain of thoughts broke and he suddenly wished he didnt have to go to school tomorrow. Or never.

He doesn't want to see Soobin again, ever...

*ting*

Hueningkai abruptly sat up, grabbing his phone from his night desk.

He opened his phone, viewing the messages through the dim light that blinded him.

Soobin:
> Hueningkai

> What's wrong

> Why are you ignoring me?

> Please, what did I do??

Hueningkais shaky fingers refused to type a word. He closed his eyes and gasped, shutting the phone off and throwing it to the side.

If only I could tell you that I hate this too but I can't do anything about it.

short plus boring chapter because there wasnt any action except for thoughts and emotions.
