First days were always the worst. Well, they were the worst for Hueningkai. When was there a day he would not get pushed and hovered down by a swarm of bullies just following him everywhere.
Step aside the bullies, his parents were equally as disastrous. He thought parents ought to be the epitome of supportiveness and always comprehend their child's statement but it was different for Hueningkais parents. They werent supportive nor understanding. Instead they fired back at Hueningkai when he exposed his sexuality. Moreover, his parents were usually not around and he was glad they weren't. Their presence just had to make everything worse

"Here we go again", Hueningkai sighed
He slowly stretched his arms while yawning and climbing off of his bed and lazily walk up to his mirror. He observed the scars on his temples. He waited all summer for the scars to fade away but out of luck, they didnt.
He found a better solution to cover that part with make up and wear a beanie to school.
After ten minutes of him in the bathroom, getting himself ready, he jogged down the stairs and as usual, none of his parents were awake.
He grabbed a toast, spreading it with butter and a cup of milk, and just after five minutes, he was ready to take his queue
What a great day to walk outside.
He thought as he smiled but then quickly frowned
Yeah, but instead, I have to go to school...high school
As much as he hated the thought of going to high school, he hated whenever he forgot his books at home. He was hoping he didnt today.
Hueningkai walked to the bus stop, patiently waiting for the bus to arrive. Honestly the only thing he was kind of excited about was to meet his friends who he would meet pretty often over the summers but at least he would get company today
His thoughts were interrupted by footsteps. He looked at his left to see a tall, purple haired boy who was busy on his phone and sat next to Hueningkai, still not taking eyes off the device
His hair is dyed purple, falling over his eyes in a messy but attractive way. He's got round cheeks, a button nose, and pouty lips, but also a jawline that could cut. He's tall, impressively even taller than Kai, and his shoulders are broad. However, his defining features are the dimples that appear with ease whenever the corners of his lips tug up.

But Somehow the way he was sitting very close to him made Hueningkai uncomfortable. He was sure that the anonymous boy was definitely distracted and didnt see his whereabouts. Hueningkai also observed the uniform he wore which resembled his, hence meaning they went to the same school and also supposing he was new since he had never seen him before.
"E-excuse me", Hueningkai softly spoke, regretting the dumb way he spoke
The boy suddenly took his eyes off his phone and gently raised his eyelids to where he heard the voice from
"Yes?", he smiled a little
"I-I was wondering, could you please move a little there? You are sitting kinda too close", Hueningkai gestured to the empty seat while making an awkward expression. Why did this anonymoys boy have to look into his eyes like that?
"Yeah, uh. Ofcourse. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I was sort of just distracted", Soobin bowed his head while moving more to the left, now creating sufficient gap between the both boys
