"What's with you looking all gloomy today?", Jeongin asked, striking Soobin out of his deep ponder
"Huh? Its nothing....just kinda tossed out", Soobin spoke as he scratched his nape.
"I can tell when you're lying you know", Jeongin spoke, hand on Soobins shoulder, stopping them both in the midway of the track.
"What's wrong Soobin", Jeongin asked once again, persuation in his voice making Soobin sigh internally.
"Right....so...Hueningkai wont talk to me..I texted him yesterday but he wont reply to me.", Soobin spoke, causing Jeongin to lower the hand that was on Soobins shoulder. Jeongin sighed as he heard 'his' name again. Well, he didnt hate him...he just--
"Jeongin...", Soobin spoke.
"Are you listening?", Soobin tapped him on the head and Jeongin immediately turned to him.
"Yeah so as I was saying...I know it has something to do with the day when Jonghyun was about to come at him again. The time before that, I agreed that I'll look out for him but suddenly he doesnt want me around anymore? Its so strange because I think something's on his mind...something that he is thinking about and I am missing out on it, right?", Soobin turned to the male next to him who was seldom attentive. His face was lowered, eyes on the tracks and his expression was currently unreadable.
"Yeah?", Jeongin looked at Soobin.
"Why wont you listen? Didnt you just ask me whats wrong???!!", Soobin raised his voice at the latter, annoyed by the sudden ignorance of the younger.
"Why are you even talking about him!?", Jeongin bashed out, making Soobin flinch
"W-what do you mean? Can i not talk about my frienf? Whats in it for you", Soobin replied, voice softened.
"He's not your friend. Friends dont suddenly ditch each other unless you're one of those 'pretend to- be's'.
And most importantly, Friends dont ignore you like he currently is. Soobin, get the hint! He doesnt want you around anymore. Stop the chase already!!", Jeongin finished his sentence, anger rising but settling as the words left his mouth.
"I'll see you in class", Jeongin added and sighed, walking past the male who stood there thinking about the boys words.
What Jeongin said was actually true?
Did Hueningkai really not want him around anymore?
With incompleted and scrambled thoughts, Soobin got the vital point that Hueningkai least desired to be around Soobin and vice versa. He kept the thinking that he should not be around Hueningkai anymore if thats what he desired and that he would cut off terms with him now.
After all, this is not what he desired but what Hueningkai did. And thats what hurt him the most.

"Jihyo?"
"Uh- hi, you dropped this", a short girl jogged towards him and handed him his notebook which he most probably dropped while exiting his classroom.
"Oh, hey, ...thank you.", Hueningkai let out a small smile as he took his belogings from her hand.
"You look so tensed, whats up?", Jihyo let out a friendly chuckle.
"Nothing...just, personal problems", Hueningkai awkwardly laughed followingly proceeding to let out a dramatic sigh.
"Oh...i see..well see you around then?", she smiled and waved gently, Hueningkai returning the gesture.
That was odd, he thought
Someone who barely talks to you randomly walks up to you one day...I mean, he did drop his notebook but the way she wanted to see him around just caught him off guard because
Why all of a sudden?

"I'd say you're overthinking man", Yeonjun said as he waited for the younger to finish.
"Yeah, probably..its still strange though", Hueningkai exclaimed
"I didnt see you around at all today", Hueningkai continued, hoping it wasnt one of those bunking excuses again.
"Uh about that, Beomgyu wanted to bunk", Yeonjun finished his sentence and suddenly he felt an arm around his neck that seemed like someone was choking him.
"My boyfriend is such a liar!!", Beomgyu faked an angry tone and continued choking him meanwhile Yeonjun who was laughing, choking simultaneously.
Beomgyu stopped and sat next to Yeonjun, patting his back twice to calm him down.
"What was that for?", Yeonjun asked as he let out one last cough.
"For lying by saying I was the one who wanted to bunk!!", Beomgyu glared at him.
"Its always you Yeonjun. If we get caught one day, I'm gonna kill you", Beomgyu crossed his arms and rolled his eyes causing Yeonjun to smile and place his large hands around Beomgyus tiny figure.
Within the moment, Hueningkai felt his presence didnt matter. That's how couples are, he thought. Annoying and lovey-dovey, they fail to mark another souls presence near them.
"Ahem", Hueningkai let out a fake cough so they both could notice that he was still there.
"Oh, haha...sorry", Yeonjun chuckled as he unwrapped his hands around Beomgyu and turned his attention towards Hueningkai, Beomgyu doing the same.
"So...How is it going with your dad", Beomgyu asked
"Dont ask...he didnt find a job yet", Hueningkai suddenly found his shoes to be the most interesting object to look at.
"What? How are you guys even paying your bills?", Yeonjun asked
"Aunt Chohee is covering up. She said its the last time shes doing this for us", Hueningkai sighed as he remembered her words again.
"Listen dude, if theres anything we could do to help, just ask ok?", Yeonjun spoke rubbing the youngers back in circles as a sign of comfort.
"Thank you hyungs", Hueningkai let out a smile.
Just as Beomgyu was about to drag the conversation longer, footsteps were audible behind them. Yeonjun and Beomgyu got up and locked eyes with Jeongin who greeted them with a small wave.
They both looked at Hueningkai who clearly didnt like Jeongins presence but failed to show it.
"Im thinking you wanna talk to Hueningkai", Yeonjun let out a petite smile.
"Yeah, I do", Jeongin looked at Hueningkai
Both boys left the two alone to talk and Hueningkai wish they hadnt. The awkward tension building in the air was enough to make Hueningkai not want the latters presence.
"Hi Hueningkai", Jeongin spoke, breaking the awkwardness
"Hey...", Hueningkai smiled
"Um so I wanna talk to you and I hope you dont mind", Jeongin exclaimed waiting for a reaction
"Oh of course I dont", Hueningkai answered back
"So...I know theres something that happened between you and Soobin..and I know that you know him well enough", Jeongin spoke
"Uh...yeah? What exactly do you want to say", Hueningkai raised an eyebrow, curious at the latters eccentric behaviour.
"Uh...well..how do I say this? I-I think I like Soobin"
