Trials begun a few minutes ago and Hueningkai seldom waited another minute before he was storming off downstairs in search for his friends so they could see the match together. More of sort, the significant reason for him going was to see Soobin.
"Hueningkai! Where have you been?", Taehyun speaks. Behind the said boy, Beomgyu and Yeonjun are huddled up next to each other and randomly burst out laughing into each others arms.
"Hey Taehyun. Sorry, i was upstairs. When do trials begin?", Hueningkai asks, trying to act nonchalant about the whole situatuon.
"In 5 minutes. Come sit next to us", Taehyun guides the boy to where the rest are seated and followingly, makes way for Hueningkai to sit. The basketball court is opened, it looks the same and Kai supposes that none has changed except for the throng of people that are whistling and seated on the steps. He sees Yuna and many other of his classmates that are gleefully anticipating their supported players get into the team and well, Hueningkai and his friends are obviously praying that Soobin gets into the team.
"I literally thought you'd bunk", Beomgyu speaks, face angled towards his left where Hueningkai is seated and the right of his hand, openly wrapped around his boyfriends arm
So clingy, Hueningkai concludes
"Well, you thought wrong", Hueningkai dramatically says right after a sigh. Yeonjun looks over to Hueningkai and raises a brow in suspicion. He's currently trying to read off Hueningkais expression, as to why he looks nonchalant and indifferent but he pushes the thought to the back of his head, wanting to respect the privacy of the helpless male.
"I hope Soobin gets in", Beomgyu says, Yeonjun followingly nodding to the statement. "I mean, to be honest, he's the only decent one amongst the players, Seungmin too", Taehyun says.
"Seungmin? He's a junior. I didn't know he was trying out too", Beomgyu says, hands circling around his eyes as to carefully search through the crowd for a Seungmin.
"You idiot. He's trying out. He'll come with the players.", Taehyun dramatically comments and Beomgyu walks up to Taehyun and teasingly pinches his forearm before quickly running back and shuffling next to Yeonjun, afraid of what the other might do next.
"I literally didn't even move", Taehyun speaks and suddenly bursts out in laughter.
Yeonjun covers his mouth to prevent himself from cackling but the way Beomgyu is snuggled into him, he can very easily interpret the vibrations on his chest and followingly, looks up at his despicable boyfriend with furrowed eyebrows who is at the verge of tears because of laughing. He's trying not to, to be fair.
Meanwhile, the boy whos sandwiched in between his chaotic acquaintances is busy typing off the keyboard of his phone. The others don't bother asking who it is, majorly because the three are too busy bickering and chortling on their own. Originally, he's texting Soobin at the moment, randomly sending him wishes of good luck.
Me:
> hey, good luck with the trials
Soobin:
> thanks kai...ill be needing it
Me:
> jeongins gonna be cheering you on too, ig that'll give you more motivation than a simple text.
Soobin:
> yours is just a text, but it's better
Me:

Soobin:
