The next morning Morrigan awoke late and a delightful smell reached her nose. She sleepily turned her head to her bedside table and saw a mouth-watering serving of her favourite breakfast; eggs, toast and bacon, she tucked in immediately. When she had fulled herself to the brim with food, she was getting up to change out of her pyjamas when there was a knock on the door.

"Coming!" She called. She opened the door and nobody was there, not a person in sight. 'Odd' she thought, looking around. Then, she looked down and beside her right foot, was a beautiful, red rose that had been clumsily placed (or maybe thrown, she thought), right outside her door. She bent down to pink the flower up and saw that it had a small slip of parchment attached to it, face down, possibly so passerby's couldn't read it, she thought.

With growing suspicion that she was going to become a victim to some sort of prank she hastily picked up the rose and shut the door she went and sat down on her bed and analysed the rose. It was in pristine condition, with petals the colour of blood, and forest green leaves. She flipped over the note attached it in her hands. It read 'Beauty and Love, you apply to both, Mog.'

It didn't have a signature but she had a slight hunch of who it was from... Blushing profusely, she untangled the note from the rose, and placed the later into a vase that had sprouted on her bedside table in the last minute. She half-tucked the note under the vase so it wouldn't fly away when her window was open and started to get dressed for the day.
