* hello! Just wanted to say thank you all so much for nearly 200 reads!

The next morning Morrigan awoke with a start as the door to her room was opened and in walked a man with large amounts of ginger hair underneath his Santa hat.
"Merry Christmas Mo-" his eyes moving from Morrigan to the person next to her, Jack, who had apparently fallen asleep next to her, still wearing his clothes from yesterday. Morrigan gasped and Jupiter said "Morrigan, what on earth..." he trailed off, looking from Morrigan to Jack, who had just woken up.

"Oh, hello Uncle Jove." Said Jack. Morrigan shoved him off the bed.

"Ouch, Mog!"

"Why are you sleeping next to me, idiot?"

"Maybe because I fell asleep?!"

"Ok, wrap it up you two. And hurry up and open your presents!" Exclaimed Jupiter., obviously still in shock, because he went to sit down on Morrigan's bed, missed it completely and landed on the floor. Jack ran to his room and brought back a stack of gifts,  made himself at home on Morrigan's bed and stated opening his presents.

"Oh this is great, thanks Mog!" Said Jack. She had given him a letter writing kit, completed with stamps, and a wax sealer.

"Now you have no excuses about not writing to me... and Jupiter" she added hastily, eyeing Jupiter. But he hadn't noticed, he was talking to Jack about the gift he had given him. She opened the first gift on her stack at the foot of her bed. It was wrapped in green wrapping paper with the Yule Queen featuring on it. She ripped it open and found a pair of shiny, new black lace-up boots.

"Oh my goodness Jack!" She cried "these would have been expensive, you shouldn't have!" She scolded him.

"How'd you know it was from me?" She held up the wrapping paper and he grinned.

"Oh. Busted." She hugged him briefly and they continued opening presents. Just after Jupiter left to start helping Frank prepare for the Christmas ball that was tonight, Jack confronted her.

"Mog, I actually have one more present for you." He told her.

"Oh no Jack. I swear, if it's expensive-" He reached under the bed and handed her his green jumper. Suddenly, to her embarrassment, she herself start to blush.

"Oh Jack. Thank you" she said, grinning at him. He hugged her tight and seemed to remember something. "Oh yeah, I was meaning to ask, do you want to go the ball with me? J-just as friends of course." He stuttered, blushing like a tomato.

"Oh, yes of course!" Morrigan said a touch to happily.

"Great! See you then." He walked out the door. Morrigan couldn't stop smiling for hours.
