*longer paragraph to make up for the longer wait :) also thank you all sooo much for over 500 reads! Five. Hundred. What?! I started writing this because I got Hollowpox for Xmas and finished it one day lol. So I was like I'm gonna write my own for myself, and then I discovered Wattpad and decided to post it on here.
Anyway I'll be quiet now. Enjoy!

She had gotten changed into a black sweater and jeans, and brushed her black mop of hair and let it hang limply just below her shoulders. She took the dress over her arm and walked her way up a few floors to the Dames's room.

"Oh darling," she had said when Morrigan said she was giving the dress back. "I insist you keep it! It was made just for you, and besides, it would just go to waste!" After Dame Chanda had talked her into it a little more, she agreed, offered her thanks, and started walking back to her room. She was halfway back to the shelter of her room when a distraction in the shape of Jack walked right into her. She didn't say anything, she felt a sense of emptiness inside her, so she just started to walk away, tears welling in her eyes.

"Morrigan, can I please talk to you?" She registered the use of her full name, and his red-rimmed eyes. and thought over what Jupiter had said. After a while she said, "Oh fine." He lead her to his room and she sat down on an arm chair and crossed her arms, looking pointedly away from Jack, who sat on the bed. When she didn't say anything, Jack launched into an obviously well-rehearsed speech about how he'd never met Noelle in his life, she had kissed him out of the blue, and he had been to shocked to do anything.

"And well..." his change in voice made Morrigan look at him for the first time, she noticed he looked miserable. "At first I thought it was you..." he muttered. She looked at him and attempted a laugh, that turned into a sort of a dry sob.

"Me? Kissing you!" She said, as a tear unwillingly escaped her eye. Jack got up and walked over to Morrigan, and he wiped the tear away, Morrigan looked away again as he knelt down in front of her.

"When I looked at her, Noelle I mean" he clarified, " she had a green mist in front of her eyes, so Im guessing she is jealous of you, for making the trials maybe, and had seen us together and... figured that would hurt you the most."

"So you're... not, together or anything?" Asked Morrigan, finally looking at him.

"Never" he said.

"And how do I know you're telling the truth?" She asked. Jack sighed and stood up coming closer to her. She thought for a wild moment that he was going to kiss her or something when he leant over her, put his hands on each of her cheeks and pressed his forehead to hers. Morrigan realised what he was doing, he was showing her what he could see. As a Witness.

"If I'm lying there will be a black mist around my head" he explained. He grasped one of her hands and pulled her up, as if so she could look him properly. She examined him. There was no black cloud, or mist or anything, there were a few other things though, a black cloud, and a singular rose, with some sort of golden wire that looked like Wunder, that strung towards her left shoulder, where she knew from experience her rose floated. Morrigan sighed, she realised what it meant. Jack liked her, not Noelle.

"I'm sorry Jack, I just-"

"No, Mog, it's fine. I understand how it would have looked." He came closer to her again and pressed his forehead to hers, removing the temporary insight he had given her. They stared at each other for a while. Morrigan noticed hazily that he was still very quite close to her. Instinctively, she put her arms around Jack's neck and rested her head on his shoulder with a sigh, while he placed his arms around her waist.

"Besides Mog, I've actually got my eyes on someone else."

"Oh?" said Morrigan, smiling, she lifted her head up at an awkward angle to look at Jack in the eyes. "Who?" She questioned, with mock suspicion. Jack put his hand on the side of her head, pushing her gently back onto his shoulder.

"Well, she's got black hair, to start," he tangled his hand into her hair, "and black eyes, and surprisingly, she loves wearing black!" He said, laughing. Morrigan's heart leaped when she realised what he was doing. She laughed.
"I also think she looks very beautiful in red, and should wear it more often" Morrigan blushed and said "good thing Chanda persuaded me to keep the dress, then."

"Well how about you, Miss Crow? Who do you like?" Morrigan made a face at the name.

"Well..." she said, pretending to think. "He wears an eyepatch, which makes him look like a bit of a pirate" she said, giggling. "And he's got black hair too!" She said, in mock surprise. "Oh yeah... and he's standing in this room." She was looking up at him now, their arms still respectively around each others neck and arms. She felt his eyes blazing into hers, as they both leaned in, he wasn't wearing his pirate eyepatch anymore. She moved her head to the side seconds before their lips met and kissed him on the cheek.

"That girl I was talking about, she also seems to be playing hard-to-get" making them both laugh. Morrigan unwillingly pulled out of their embrace, "want to go to dinner?" She asked. Jack nodded and slipped his hand into hers, and started to walk towards the door.

"Jack, do we really want them to, well, annoy us any more than they already do?" Morrigan asked uncertainly

"Mog, I know you haven't lived here for as long as me" Morrigan scowled and poked her tongue out at him, "but I'm making a highly-educated guess that they were listening at the door the whole time." He said in a whisper. She gasped and they crept to the door and listened, and, sure enough, Jack was right,

"Chanda, move! I want to see!" Jupiter whispered.

"Oh they are so adorable!" Martha squeaked quietly

"Jove get out of the way!" Dame Chanda whisper-yelled. Jack looked at Morrigan and she grinned and nodded, she knew what he was thinking. Jack let go of Morrigan's hand, and Morrigan stood back, while Jack silently one hand the door knob, held up the other hand up and started to count down. 3...2...1...

He slammed open the door and in stumbled a guilty-looking Martha, Jupiter, and Dame Chanda.

"Oh!" Exclaimed Dame Chanda "Hello!" She said, with a guilty smile plastered onto her face.

"We were just... ummm" Stuttered Martha

"...Coming to tell you dinner is ready!" Jupiter said, much to loudly, his eyes twinkling, and a smile playing on his mouth.

"Oh!" Said Morrigan, her voice positively oozing with sarcasm, "Sure we will be right down" said Jack, smirking.

Everyone walked towards the door, and on the way out Jupiter muttered "pirate".

No one could stop laughing for hours.
