I Love You Too

James kissed my hand gently. I couldn't help but hug him again. I missed him so much and after his explaining, I felt bad for running away from him. I hugged him tightly again, remembering his unforgettable aroma that smelt like heaven. I took in his shaking, nervous hands and his eyes that were shiny because he was holding back tears. Things I've never seen from him before. It was James's first time admitting he loved me and I whispered it right back in his ear. It was true. I did love him. I never wanted to lose him.

"I'm sorry," he said again for the nth time.
"Jaaames," I said long and clear.
"Don't apologize. I should be the one apologizing. Forget that ever happened," I said and pat him on the back. By this time I'd eaten, showered, and changed my clothes for what it felt like- was the first time in forever.
"Okay babe," he said using the nickname which gave me a chill because I'd never imagine someone like James calling me that.
"Okay," I said after him and sat on his lap which was on my bed. I sat facing him, with my legs around his waist.
"I missed you," I said quietly and kissed the tip of his nose.
"Poo! I totally forgot the Dance Move is in like 3 days," I said and James laughed as I replaced a curse word with 'poo'.
"Yeah, I'm so excited. Still can't believe we're going," he said .
"I'm happy we could get into..."

James POV

Riley started rambling on.

"I'm happy we could get into it because-" I interrupted her with a kiss. It wasn't a sexual make out kiss. It was a passionate kiss that I wanted to mean something. Our lips moved in sync passionately and slowly and Riley would take in air every few seconds. She pulled away but her hands were still around my neck. She leaned her forehead against mine.
"I love you too," she cooed softly in my ear.
