Chapter 41:

Natsu's POV:

As she's explaining what actually happened, Luce was getting creepy stares by three of those men. I immediately didn't like it. Only I can give her that look. I need to be down there to protect her from those idiots staring at her and her outfit, but I can't show myself just yet, and it kills me that I can't be near her.

I have to admit though, that star dress, along with the maid one, is my favorite. I can tell why they'd stare, but it still makes me mad. Well, I'd really like to watch the others fight, but this is the perfect time to steal some of that dust Wendy keeps in the bedroom her, Mira, Lisanna, Luce, and now Gray share. I left before any of them could get a chance to catch my already well-hidden scent. I've been here too long already. Now all that's left is to find an even more secluded place then that old mansion, and I'll be good to go get Luce back from Ice Prick.

Lucy's POV:

". . .and that's what happened." I said. I had just finished answering Erza's question.

"So basically," Yukino said,"Gemini can summon any of my spirits at any time when she looks like me? And she can scan my memories too?"

I shook my head. "It's not that simple. Gemini can only transform into people who have similar levels of magic power as their keyholder, which is me. Since you're a fellow celestial wizard, they were able to transform into you. Also, if you receive any new keys, like Storm's, then Gemini can only use them if they recopy you after you make the contract. Since the last time they copied you was when we were living in the mansion, they can't summon Storm because you got his key later on. If they copy you now, then they can use his key, and him and any other spirits can't defy Gemini, even if they know it isn't really you."

Yukino and everyone else just looked at me, confused.

"That is a lot to remember." Erza said.

"Pft says the one who probably has over 100 different armors. How can you remember which one is the best to use in a situation?" I laughed.

She shrugged. "I just can."

"And that's my answer to your question as well." I said. "There's a lot to remember when it comes to my magic. My star dresses and my spirits' combo attacks for example. Since I have ten of them, it's a lot to remember but I just do. It's like a habit."

"Still though." Kagura added. "You were able to use another celestial spirit to summon and control Ophiuchus, who is Yukino's spirit in the first place. That's awesome! I can't believe you even thought of that."

"Exactly! I thought that when Gemini turned into you, you were going to perform that ultra spell of the stars I believe Hibiki Lates of Blue Pegasus gave you the knowledge to use." Yukino explained.

"I honestly didn't even think to use Urano Metria at first. I realized that that's probably what you thought I would do when I saw your reaction. I had Gemini scan my thoughts so they could figure out my plan. You should have seen their reaction when they figured out what I was trying to do. Well, I guess it's MY reaction since they were me at that moment." I laughed. So did the others.

Gray then interrupted, saying, "Hey Lucy, since we have to fight again, can I mostly fight this time? I'd feel bad if you did more fighting than me."

"If you want to then sure." I shrugged. "I need to get some of my magic power back anyway."

Erza then said that to make it fair, we would have a break before teams from both battles are going to fight.

We all agreed, and Mira came back and handed everyone water. Laxus took four of the cups and handed them to Doranbolt and the three trainees. I don't think he's gonna let Mira anywhere near them. Doranbolt was fine, but he couldn't leave them alone to get some water since he promised he'd watch them, so Laxus brought him a cup too. They got a little disappointed but didn't dare speak up about it.

Then us girls went off and talked about girl stuff, and the story about Gajeel giving Levy those clothes came up, and we told it while Levy sat there embarrassed. Gajeel was a little red too, and I forgot he had dragon hearing and could probably hear us fine, even if we were away from them.

" . . . yeah, and then Levy shouted, 'Gajeel you perv!' and came out in Lucy's workout clothes. The idiot accidentally picked out clothes from the wrong bag!" Mira said laughing.

The girls, even Levy, laughed at the guy's stupidity. Levy's and my bag weren't even the same color. I don't know how he could get them mixed up.

"But how bad were the clothes? Were they really that revealing?" Yukino asked.

This time it was my turn to blush. "It was an outfit for training, okay?! I train when no was is around so I usually don't have to worry about being embarrassed!" I defended.

"Lucy you didn't answer the question." Kagura pointed out.

I sighed. "Okay fine. It was a black training bra and some blue girl's athletic shorts, god!" I confessed.

Levy and I were the blushing duo as the other girls laughed. Well, Erza didn't because she's seen me wear it before when she helped me train in that forest.

"If any boys saw you in that, they'd have a nosebleed!" Mira said laughing.

"Speak for yourself, Mira!" I said back. "You're a model! If Laxus or any other boys saw you in it, they'd have a serious nosebleed over you instead." I laughed.

"Yeah but you won second in the Miss Fairy Tail pageant." She said back.

"But Erza won first place, and you didn't even enter because you won the pageant the last year." I said.

"But to be fair Lucy, I was wearing a maid costume. That's the only reason I won." Erza chimed in.

"So? You still would have won! I'd be in third if Mira entered, too. I don't even know who would win between you two." I said to her.

"Aw how sweet!" Erza replied.

"How about instead of battling with magic for the rest of the tournament, we have a pageant! Like as a redo!" Mira shouted excitedly.

"No way!" Me, Yukino, and Levy shouted.

"Why not?" Erza asked.

"Because first off, it's embarrassing!" Levy said.

"And, the perverts are still here." I added.

"And not to mention what our boyfriends would do if they saw us in a revealing outfit. Which I'm pretty sure Mira-san would try and put us in." Yukino replied as well.

"Please?! I've never been in a pageant before." Wendy said, and cue her adorable puppy eyes.
