She suddenly gasped and lightly touched the mark on her neck. Her eyes widened and tears were brimming. I think she realized what Natsu actually did to her.

I immediately hugged her. "Shh it's okay, Lucy. I'll change it back, and it definitely won't hurt as much because Wendy's going to relieve the worst of the pain." I said, trying to comfort her. She nodded as she hugged me tightly.

"All of my magic power is restored, so we can do the process right now if you'd like," Wendy suggested.

Lucy broke the hug and looked at her. "Yes please," she replied.

"Wait before you start," Mira chimed in, "Master, can you request for Chelia from Lamia Scale to come over so she can help ease Lucy's pain? Lucy said that when Natsu changed it, the pain went on for hours, and Wendy's magic won't hold out that long. Chelia has healing magic too I believe, so they can switch off," she explained.

Gramps nodded and took out a lacrima, calling the master of Lyon's guild. He took the call outside.

He came back in a few minutes later and said that Chelia would be over soon with Lyon accompanying her. I think Lyon insisted on coming so he could make sure Chelia was safe and so he could come comfort Juvia, because the last time when Lucy was screaming, her and others were crying and wincing at her pain.

We decided to start the process before they arrived, because Wendy's magic will hold out until then.

Lucy laid back down on the bed, taking one of the pillows and holding it tight, ready for the pain. I was starting to change my mind, because I didn't want to cause her any pain, but I forced myself to carry through with it. She turned her head to the side, showing Natsu's mark. I closed my eyes so I wouldn't have to look at it. I bit down and felt Lucy wince a little. I released and looked at her. She didn't react, other than that wince.

It didn't work. She's now Natsu's mate forever . . . I thought, depressed and disappointed.

"AAAAHHHH!!" We suddenly heard Lucy scream. It must have not kicked in until a few seconds later.

"Wendy!" Gramps ordered.

Wendy ran over and began healing her. Lucy kept screaming.

"Wendy what's going on?!" Erza asked.

"Why is she still in so much pain?!" Mira asked.

"My healing magic!" Wendy replied, "It's not working!"

I suddenly panicked. We didn't think of this possibility! Her magic has always worked, so it never came to mind that it wouldn't affect Lucy.

"Maybe we need more healing power!" Juvia suggested.

"We need Chelia! She's probably packing for the trip right now. Master please call again!" Wendy said as she kept trying to heal her.

Master pulled hour the communication lacrima again and called Lamia Scale's master.

"What do you want now, Mokarav!" She snapped.

"I'm sorry again, old woman, but we desperately need Chelia. Wendy's magic has no affect and no one else has healing magic." Gramps told her.

"I told you Chelia is packing! Wait will you?" She snapped again.

"I'm sorry but please send her soon. This is our situation." He said as he turned the lacrima so she could see.

She saw Lucy on the infirmary bed screaming with tears running down and Wendy at her side with a worried and panicked face trying her best to heal her. And me trying to soothe Lucy with words, while the others pacing and around trying to come up with ideas on how to help us.

"Oh my god, okay they're leaving right now. I don't know what you did Mokarav, but that girl is in serious pain," the old woman said as we heard her yelling at Chelia and Lyon to leave right now or she'll spin them. We saw on the lacrima them rushing out of the guild doors with backpacks on. She turned off the lacrima, and Gramps turned around.

"Okay I'm sure you heard all of that, but they just left and are on their way," He reported.

"Wait shouldn't we have called over Doranbolt and ask if he could teleport them?" Lisanna asked.

"Lis you're a genius! Master, can you call him?" Erza asked.

"Already doing it," he said as Doranbolt picked up the lacrima. He quickly explained the situation and showed us on the lacrima, then turned it off. Suddenly Doranbolt appeared in the infirmary with none other than the ice dragonslayer I trained.

"Her magic grants her healing power. It might be a few minutes until I can teleport Chelia and Lyon, so I'll leave her here to help." He said quickly before disappearing again to track them down. Since they already left the guild hall they should just be heading out of their town, now.

"Okay tell me exactly what you need me to do," The woman said.

"Please help Wendy heal Lucy. She's in extreme pain and her magic isn't working. We think that she needs more healing power for it to work," I said.

She nodded and ran over to Lucy, kneeling down next to Wendy. An icy blue light appeared from her hands, and it combined with Wendy's to create one light of healing magic.

I could tell it was working at least a little bit, because Lucy seemed to be in less pain than before.

"Hey wait a minute, isn't this your mate, Gray? I recognize her," She suddenly said.

"Yeah. Another slayer marked her so I had to replace it with mine again. The process is painful as you can see, and can last for hours at most," I explained.

"Mhm, yeah that makes sense. That happened to my mate once. It wasn't nearly as painful as this though. Wasn't as long either. He just kept grunting and wincing, and it lasted for about half an hour. I think it's because of your magic. Devils can be more viscous than dragons." She replied while focusing on her healing.

"That's good to know, thanks . . .sorry what's your name?" Said Mira.

"Oh yeah sorry. My name is Himari Delfario. Ice dragonslayer. Nice to meet you Miss Mirajane," she said.
