Chapter 3:

Lucy's POV:

I opened my eyes to a white ceiling with a blinding light centered, and two rectangular lights on my left. My eyes adjusted enough to make me realize that those rectangular lights were windows.

I sat up then laid back down. Ow. Looks like I'm not walking around anytime soon.

Lucy-san you're awake! I have to go get the girls, hold on and don't move."

I saw a flash of dark blue hair and knew it was Wendy, who was now running out the door. It's not like I can move anyways. I thought.

She came back not even a minute later with the puffy eyed girls who I called my best friends. I felt bad for making them cry, but I don't even remember what happened.

Next thing I know, they are on the verge of crying again as Mira hugged me asking me if I'm okay and if she's hugging too hard. I just laughed and said she was fine the way she was.

She released and then they all started asking me questions. "Lucy, how did this happen?" Erza asked.

I frowned and held my aching head, trying to remember. Oh yeah....that's what happened. I thought as I remembered what happened on the mission.

"So I went to the spot Natsu told me to go to and I saw some of the rogue mages. I walked past normally and then they started to attack me. I took them out with my whip and took like 7 of them out. But then more came. I thought Natsu said that there were only a couple? There was a whole guild full and I got surrounded, then one must have knocked me out or something because I felt a sharp pain in my head, and I think one of them put an immobilizing spell on me because I couldn't move my body at all. It definitely wasn't because I was low on magic power. Then I couldn't help it, I blacked out. Then woke up here in the guild infirmary."

They looked horrified. "W-we were evacuating the people and then we tried to hurry back but Natsu convinced us that you could handle it for a little while longer while we scout out a spot for a sneak attack and hidden place for Wendy and Lisanna," Said Erza.

Lisanna started to cry. "We are so sorry, we didn't know there was a guild full of them." Mira comforted her little sister while also looking sad.

Wendy looked down, as if she was ashamed by what she had done. "Wendy, don't blame yourself, none of you could have known," I said when I noticed it. I hoped that this would make them feel better, and luckily it did. They nodded and smiled a sad smile.

At least it's better than crying.

I turned to Juvia and Levy. "Thanks for making sure I'm okay." Juvia and Levy smiled. "Juvia was happy to. Juvia wanted to make sure Lucy was okay!" Now that surprised me. Levy smirked. "Guess what Lucy?" She asked.

Juvia interrupted her. "Juvia has a boyfriend!" Huh?

I sat there dumbfounded. So Gray finally agreed to be her boyfriend huh? Never thought that could happen, but they are so cute together!

A part of me was disappointed and I didn't know why. Maybe it was because I liked watching Juvia go after her man. I did think it was funny whenever I watched her chase him. Then Gray ran in.

"I heard Juvia scream that she has a boyfriend! Does that mean she can stop stalking me?!" He asked hopefully.

They nodded and Gray cheered. "Well at least now we can be friends instead of you stalking me the whole time. Who is your boyfriend anyway? I have a hunch." He said to Juvia.

She smiled brightly and said, "Lyon."

We all clapped for her and gave our congratulations. I honestly shipped them more than her and Gray, but I didn't want to say it out loud because them Mira would come up to me demanding I be her shipping partner.

Wendy asked something I didn't expect. "Lucy. Why didn't you use your spirits when you fought those guys?"

"I-I...."
