Chapter 20: Heartbeats Per Second
THIRD PERSON's PoV
The school fest is finally on! Even when it's already afternoon, the school ground was still busy and the crowd was everywhere. Different tents and booths were already put up. Most of the crowd were students, both from inside and outside the school, at makikita ang mga ekspresyon ng pagkamangha, tuwa, at saya sa kanilang mga mukha.
He turned to her.
Matamlay na ngumiti ang binata sa kaklase trying to appreciate her concern and said, "Salamat ah, kahit hindi mo nakikita, I want you to know nakangiti na ako sa'yo ngayon as an appreciation."
"Walang problema.
Aside from that, my mother won't really let me go out too much in the crowd."
"Ah, I see. Una na ako!" then she saw Butter going through the door, but before finally leaving may pahabol pa itong sinabi, "Laszlo, punta ka mamayang 2:00 sa orchestra hall ng cultural complex, magpe-perform kami!"
"O-okay." tugon naman ng binata.
"Aasahan ko yan!" after that, the classroom was filled with silence again. At nang natiyak na ng binata na wala nang tao sa loob ng kanilang classroom, he took a gaze outside the school again where the ambiance was evidently busy yet fun.
The truth is, he's been losing his cheer since the other day when his younger sister and father's death anniversary was remembered.
"...batang naging dahilan ng pagkamatay ni Enric..." he couldn't forget those remarks, in which all these time he's been enduring, and trying avoid.
Not too long when he noticed his own reflection on the glass pane.
He looked below, and there he saw a message coming from Miyaka.
From Miyaka
