Did the Light of the Day visit?
Even so, the Night sends its greetings
For the Moon has finally risen
And then, continues the proceedings

Your frown stays the same
But your eyes waver in shame
Oh, why wear such a face?
Darkness is not your mistake

"Fly, what do you say?"
Darkness blocks your way
Then, he sneers at my face
"Do not join in the fray"

But I will not be starless
"Oh, shut your trap, Darkness"
For Firefly, I will be fearless
When you're in your tiredness

The Darkness thinks you're him
But I know you are truly free
"The Fly stays with me"
"Over my dead body"

Firefly, remember this for me
The Sun loves you faithfully
The Stars sees your beauty
The Clouds cry for you truly
The Moon and I will be your army

Get a well-deserved shut-eye
Bid the Darkness goodbye
Yours is the midnight sky
You are important, Firefly
