There was a pouring rain
On the road of pain
It was an empty lane
And you stood under the rain

The downpour was unkind
The winds were violent
Abandoned your piece of mind
And the tears were your rivulet

Then, there's an umbrella you'd find
Against the pour, it relents
You looked back and behind
And there was Violet

Those amethyst eyes worry for you
"Are you in regret?"
The umbrella raised above you
And it was violet

"I think you'd hate me too
Got it in my head"
Yet there's that one who'd stay true
And it was Violet

What you realized came next
A scarf on your neck
Warmth in its embrace
And it was violet

"But I think you are just as important
As my name lets"
There's someone who'd say you're enough
And it was Violet

"My umbrella is yours to keep
Raise it as you wept"
The voice validate what you feel
And it was Violet

Then, the pouring rain stops too
You look at the sky's set
Onyx black, white spots, navy blue
And there was violet
