"Oh, Firefly, you're glorious
Your dimness makes one anxious
Your Darkness makes me furious
The Night is cool but serious"

Seeing no point in my anger
In the night we stand together
On different scales altogether
Yet, even so, I know you're stronger

"No need to get mad, Butterfly"
"Oh, but for you, I am, Firefly
Your pain will let me slay
How dare Darkness blind you this way!"

"Oh, dear golden Firefly
The Darkness wears a disguise"
"But it's just a visiting night"
"Since when did Night lose its light?"

Holding your hands, I look at your face
"You're human too, no matter your name"
Pulling you from the door's way, I pray,
"God, do not let this heart go astray"

I glare at the door as I sing
"Oh, Darkness, leave my Firefly be!
This Firefly is special, that's real
But first, you must get through me!"

Oh, golden Firefly, remember this too
The stars of the galaxy shine for you
The real Knight of the Night loves you
The Sun, Clouds, Stars, & the Moon said sotoo
