Before we sleep for the night
We hear more than a triple knock
And then you stood upright
In front of the door that's lockedI ask as I stand behind
"Is it the mighty Knight?"
An answer from you I'll find
"I see no such light""Leave it closed, stay in the light!"
You did as told, said "but it's too bright"
You'll be scolded, "For I am your knight
tIt is granted that I stand by your side"Oh, but why do you see light
In the darkness of a fake knight?
It delivers a prophesied lie!
'There is a reality in its lies'"Oh, such Darkness!" I cry
You came closer, asked me 'why'
"Does it often visit our Firefly?"
You'd nod and I'd cry"Oh, such Darkness! Shoo!"
And you'd be quite confused
"Oh, Butterfly, what's to fear?"
"It is your fire, my dear!"I will sing with a bit of a fright
"Oh, please bless us with Light"
I will clasp my hands closely tight
And then, I'm determined tonightEven if you ask me
"What if I fall, Butterfly?"
I know soon you'd see
"Oh, but what if you fly?"Oh, Firefly, you are glorious
You're good, you're wondrous
Close your eyes, sweet dream
This Butterfly wishes you a good sleep
