Chapter 2: A Lone Cloud in the Sky

It's been a few more years now, nothing has really changed in the family department sadly. However, the progress I've made on my personal skills has risen quite greatly. How to prevent death once again has been the sole mission that I have been trying to solve. After experiencing death the first time, I'm not afraid to say that the possibility scares me. There are no third chances for me most likely. Luciturd said himself that I would be absorbed into him. Would I just be nothing if I die again?

The solution came quite easily, my first came with my first use of my gamer powers. Unlike the normal gamer powers I was used to, mine came with an additional ability. Gacha, essentially it was gambling commonly found in games. Back in my previous life, I was quite fond of these kinds of games. Makes sense that my gamer powers would adapt itself to fit me with that ability.

I had just hit level 10 and got strong enough to not be pushed around by common grunts at least. I was still toast if someone actually strong wanted to fight me. God, there are so many dangerous people in this world. Obviously not like Naruto or Bleach strong, but a lot of supernatural phenomena happen in this one. Dying will flames really were something special.

They were just as I remembered from my time reading the manga and watching the anime version of this universe. There were seven flames in total that make up the flames of the sky. Six common ones and the hidden gem known as sky flames.

Sky flames had the factor of harmony in them, uniting all the others to form the vast sky. They were still shrouded in mystery in what they could truly do. Some had the ability to combine flames to form stronger ones. Such as the Flames of Wrath and Oath Flame. Not to mention the overpowered ability to open box weapons of other attributes which usually wasn't possible. Granted they would be weaker than their main counterpart, but still very formidable.

Next on the list was the ever chaotic storm that destroys everything in its path. These were known to have the factor of disintegration, really weren't kidding about destroying. I would akin these to the Power of Destruction from DxD.

Ah, rain would be the next attribute that was common in this universe. Funny how it's named rain but it's still a flame. They had the factor of tranquility, at first you wouldn't think too much of them as a threat. Oh, how you would be wrong. These were also overpowered in the sense that they could just shut down someone completely. The factor of tranquility would slow down anything it touched, the rain funeral wreath could kill a man just by stopping all their vitals if I remembered correctly. Quite deadly in the right hands.

After that one would be the healing flame of the bunch. Sun had the factor of activation which had some broad meanings. Mostly had to do with cells in the body. People could heal their wounds, increase the strength of something, even activate cells to age things to their prime state. This was seen when Uri, the small kitten was bathed in sun flames and caused it to grow temporarily into its adult form.

Now, something interesting was lightning, this attribute was in fact green. You would assume it was yellow, but it appeared as a rich green. They had the property of hardening, basically, if you wanted to increase the density of something to pierce this would be your go-to. Great to penetrate someone's defenses.

Second, to last was mist, this odd flame was mostly favored by individuals that liked its flexibility. Its factor being construction used in things such as illusions as a common tactic. You should not underestimate the strength of a mist user. I would say the greatest of them could in fact challenge Uchiha level of stupid. Then again, those eyes had the additional power of plot armor jutsu.

Now finally was my bread and butter, the precious gift from my late mother. Yes, it did turn out she had passed on. I found her again once she was on her deathbed, even though I didn't know her for long this body still had tears to give.
