7. Crapulent

Third person POV:

It's been a few days since you made that promise with Jotaro, and you've been secretly smoking together every night.

It was night now; you, kakyoin and Jotaro were chatting in the living room until you heard Joseph and Polnareff come in.

"Oh you're finally back from the convenient store!" Kakyoin noted out at them.

"Yes." Joseph said, putting down the bags right in the middle of the table.
"But man, it surely was a shock to know you never had a drink before, Y/n!"

You had a confused look but soon you understood what was inside the bags.

Beer.

Polnareff uncovered the bags, that revealed what was inside.
Indeed beer just like you guessed, cans of beer but along with some other snacks.

Joseph pushed an opened can into your chest: "You're drinking tonight!"

You looked troubled, you held it yet you weren't sure what to do with it. You never drank before so you didn't know how it tasted, or if you could even handle it or not.

"Mr Joestar, you can't force her." Kakyoin said worried.

You decided to give it a try, if not now then when?
You held tighter on the can and looked at Joseph smiling widely: "Let's do this!"

"That's the spirit!" Joseph and Pol bumped their cans into yours and the three of you yelled simultaneously:
"CHEERS!"

Jotaro and Kakyoin refused to drink, but that you didn't care about.

You sipped in your drink but you almost spat it out immediately, you thought it'd be disrespectful so you gulped it slowly.

"Nobody warned me that it'd be this bitter!!" You complained, thinking of a polite way to refuse anymore.

"Yare yare daze.. if you don't wanna drink it then just don't." Jotaro simply said, which made sense.

You put the drink down, which made Joseph sad, but soon that was replaced by a grin.

"Hey Y/n!" The old man started, "Do you have a card deck?"

You then gave it a small thought before rummaging through a corner in your study room.
You found a deck and handed it to Joseph, he checked if all the cards were there and there appeared to be no need for that.

"Let's play poker, the loser will have to drink, the winner will decide the amount though haha!" Joseph laughed out, apparently the alcohol already kicked in.

"I'm not playing." Jotaro refused instantly and leaned back on the sofa.

"I'm in!" Both you and Kakyoin yelled and sat down the table facing each other. And on your sides were Joseph and Pol sitted facing each other too.

"Let's play 2 vs 2, me and Pol vs Y/n and Kakyoin." Joseph began explaining, "Rules are simple, we will be dealt 5 cards each, however you'll have to work with your partner and both of you has to throw 5 cards in total at the same time, which means you'll not use all of your cards, so choose carefully."

You wondered how will you have to communicate with Kakyoin, or will you just leave it to luck?

"And obviously, the highest hand wins." Joseph smirked, as if he already won:
"Jojo, deal the cards for us please."

"Yare yare.." Jotaro sighed but dealt you 5 cards each anyway.

You looked at your cards and you couldn't believe how lucky you were, you averted your eyes to Jotaro who gave you a smile then tipped his hat, maybe he gave you those cards on purpose, trying to help you.

You smiled to your self but didn't wanna get caught so you quickly dropped off your grin.

Your opponent played first, Joseph threw in 3 cards and Pol threw 2, 5 in total.
You looked at what they had, and it was a full house, K-K-K-2-2.
Not bad, you wondered how in hell they chose such a good hand without speaking a word.

"Beat this! haha!" Polnareff shouted as if the winner was decided already.

You looked at your cards and gestured for Kakyoin to not use any of his cards, in which he doubted but decided to trust you anyway.

You threw all 5 of your cards proudly, your hand was four of a kind, which is obviously higher than theirs.

Kakyoin looked surprised and relieved that he trusted you, but Pol and Joseph had the opposite expressions.

"Who said you could play all of your cards at once!" Joseph started complaining but you cut him off.

"You never mentioned that we can't, just admit you got beaten." You giggled and let Kakyoin decide how much alcohol they'll have, it's only fair because he didn't get to play any cards before.

Kakyoin being the kind person he is, he just let them off by a sip.

Jotaro approached you to deal for the 2nd round, you whispered a thank you to him in which Joseph heard, and right when Jotaro was done, Joseph insisted on exchanging seats.

You agreed so not to appear suspicious, and now the cards that were once going to be yours are Joseph's.

You looked at Jotaro but unexpectedly he gave you a reassuring smile, he knew his grandfather was going to get suspicious, so in this round he dealt you the cards fairly.

"We have to win this round, Pol!" You heard this coming from Joseph's direction, but you could swear he didn't even open his mouth, you just shrugged it off.

"Of course, what cards do you have?" You heard Pol's voice, but again his mouth didn't move. You honestly started freaking out and blaming the sip of alcohol you had.

"Using his stand to cheat, that old man.." Jotaro thought, "but did he forget.."

"I can clearly hear you Mr Joestar, did you forget that I'm also a stand user?" You heard Kakyoin say, but again without opening his mouth.

It's the third time and you can't be hallucinating, your eyes windened and you spoke out the next words:

"Stand.. user?"

Everyone looked at you in shock then stood up as fast as they could, leaving you dumbfounded.

Weird beings appeared behind every one of them, and you almost passed out by the sight yet you still couldn't utter a word.

You faced Jotaro who was looking at you just as surprised and you couldn't understand what was going on anymore.
