17. Clarion

Third person POV:

Jotaro's face was millimeters apart from yours, you could smell the sweet yet bitter scent of the coffee he had been drinking previously.

Your heart beat faster and faster, then his lips touched yours and his tongue found its way inside your mouth.
You closed your eyes; your world swaying, enjoying every second of his kiss, the kiss that began soft and gentle then intensified.

With a light bite on your lower lip, your mouths parted ways.
Dizzy, you looked at Jotaro's green orbs that were already scanning you.
His hair was hiding his face instead of his hat and you took that opportunity to pat his head.
Gently, you did.

"Y/n," Jotaro rose from his seat and faced you, took your hand into his and continued:
"Come with me."

Sure that was a shocker, but his next words surprised you even more.

"Tomorrow that is, let's live together from now on. You don't have to fear anything." his tone powerful and serious.

At a loss for words, you felt something warm and wet slide down your cheeks.

You cried.

Without even realising it, you were sobbing, you never thought you could be this important to someone, not to this point at least.

"Yes.." you whispered accepting his proposal then you embraced him tightly, you squeezed almost crushing him if you could even.

"I love you Y/n." Jotaro reassured you, putting his arms around you.
You felt safe and overjoyed:
"I love you even more, Jotaro."

After the ferries wheel ride, you and Jotaro spent more time around the city, had lunch too, It was all fun but you had to go back home eventually, hence you did.

"We're back." you announced after opening your house door, looking rather content.

"heh!" Kayoin chuckled loudly.

"I see you beat us to it, Jotaro!" Polnareff exclaimed, "You told her already, right?"

You stood there confused yet kind of having an idea what they're talking about.

Joseph walked towards you and stretched his arm:
"Here, your passport isn't expired right!"

You looked down at his hand that was holding a plane ticket.

"Tomorrow you, Jotaro and Kakyoin will be going to Japan, Polnareff and I will be heading different ways though.
Now go pack up the necessary stuff and the rest we'll take care of."

"Thank you!" you hugged Joseph and quickly went upstairs, you could see Jotaro's dark aura from the corner of your eye.

"Damn old man." Jotaro muttered and you couldn't help but laugh.

Time flew by with you being busy packing and preparing yourself and once it was night time you drifted to sleep.

Then morning arrived.

This is probably the morning you lived your whole life waiting for you thought.

You did your daily morning routine and right when you were fixing the last touches for your hair, you heard a knock.

"Come in!" you yelled then someone walked through the door.

It was none other than Jotaro.
"Ready?"

You nodded then Jotaro grabbed your suitcase and both of you headed down to the car.

You packed your clothes and the necessary stuff only, Jotaro told you that the Speedwagon Foundation will take care of the rest, like what you're planning to do with your house or the shipping of your car.

The ride to the airport was full of chatters and jokes so in no time you found yourselves there.

"I guess it's Pol's plane that's departing first." Kakyoin mentioned after checking the flights informations.

You looked a little sad about the fact that you have to go separate ways, however you felt sure that you're gonna meet again, and in better circumstances.

"Back to France huh, à la ville lumière (to the city of lights)." Pol sighed out.
He lifted his head up, trying to hide his tears you assumed.

As you noticed, you quickly clung on him giving him a tight hug, that made his attempt to hide his tears meaningless as you saw a tear escape his eye.

"We'll miss you, Polnareff!" you yelled quite shakily, then let go.

"I'll miss you too Y/n! I'll miss all of you!"

"Take care of yourself Pol." Joseph said quite moved and gave him a hug too.

Soon Kakyoin and Jotaro hugged Pol too, with that he left to his flight.

"Now it's my turn," Joseph said patting your back:
"Gotta go or Suzi may not forgive me this time, haha!"

"Take care old man." Jotaro said with his usual tone.

"Have a safe flight, Joestar-san!" Kakyoin added.

You leaned forward: "Thank you for everything, Joseph!"

"See you around kids!"
The old man headed his own way.

Looking a little down, Jotaro noticed that and took your hand in his.
You looked up only to be greeted by a smiley Jotaro, that lifted your mood, yet you couldn't shake the anxious feeling inside.

"I believe we should be taking our seats already, come on Jotaro, Y/n!" Kakyoin announced and began walking off to the plane.

You had goosebumps, it's only now that you remembered that this is your first voyage and you didn't know it would scare you like this.

"Uh, we have to climb all of these stairs right?"

Jotaro just nodded to your obvious question.
You looked troubled, you wanted to take your time going up but you couldn't leave the passengers behind you waiting for so long.

"Is something wrong, Y/n?"

You kept silent, but soon you felt yourself getting dragged up.

"So this is your first time travelling, huh? Seems like I'm taking too many of your firsts, we got plenty of those ahead."
Jotaro simply said, and you kept on thinking of what he meant.

That distracted you, and you found yourself facing Kakyoin who was already sitted down.

"You take the window seat." Jotaro gently placed you there, locked your seat belt very smoothly and sat beside you, Kakyoin next to him.

Jotaro took your hand and intertwined your fingers:
"Don't worry I'm here with you."
He softly smiled and added,
"Also, the window seat is the best for your first plane experience."
