12. Moiety

Third person POV:

"Ugh, what to wear?" you harshly grumbled, you've been looking at your closet for a while now trying to pick an outfit.
Eventually, you just chose your usual wear. After all, today isn't a special day anymore.

Back in the day, you would of been too excited that you don't even get any sleep the night before, but as you grew older, that started fading little by little.

You made your way downstairs, not even embarrassed or bothered by the fact that you're always the last one to wake up.

You made it to the living room, this somehow becoming a routine for you now.
"Good morning." you lazily waved, but unusually no one returned your greeting.

You furrowed your eyebrows at them and they all had a huge smile on their faces:
"Happy birthday Y/n!" Together they cheered happily, surprisingly even Jotaro was smiling, but tried to hide it with his hat.

You were caught off guard by that, it was obviously unexpected:
"H-how do you know?" you stuttered, completely astonished.

"Sometimes you can be so naive, Y/n-san!" Kakyoin chuckled, "It is mentioned on your artist profile."

You then remembered Kakyoin insisted on reading the comic you were making, you hesitated at first but then told him the name eventually.

"Let's not waste anymore time! We're celebrating your birthday!" Pol yelled shaking you back and forth.

You looked at him: "But what about all of that fighting spirit yesterday-"

"Come on, we can do that later!" Joseph interrupted, and started pushing both you and Pol towards the door, "Unlike your birthday that comes once a year!"

You felt embarrassed from all of this attention, you gazed at Jotaro from the corner of your eye and he just smiled at you, which made you even more red.

Once you were out you found a huge car parked there, Joseph gestured for you to take the passenger seat but you refused and told Pol to seat there instead so he did.

You sat in between Jotaro and Kakyoin:
"You can seat by the window Y/n." Kakyoin offered.

"No I'm fine, I wanna be in the middle because today I'm the centre of the attention." You stupidly joked

Apparently Joseph can drive in any country, you found that odd but shrugged it off. What mattered to you is that he didn't wanna tell where he's taking you all, only saying it's a surprise.

You glanced at Jotaro then you noticed him looking down at your hand, he was going to touch it; hold it maybe, however he seemed to hesitate. He blushed then looked out the window.

You wondered what was that, yet you still found it cute.

Soon enough the car stopped, revealing your destination.
'Joseph knows places around here better than me now or what?' You thought finding this amusing.

"Tadaa! let's watch a movie!" Pol hurried to the posters on the wall, he was acting like a child.

"I've never been to the cinema before!" His eyes sparkled as he was looking at the list: "What are we gonna watch? Oh! this one seems interesting!"

You giggled at his behaviour, Joseph told you to choose the movie, but you let Pol do instead.
"Ok this one is going to start soon, let's watch it." He pointed out at a romantic comedy movie.

Joseph bought the tickets and the popcorn then all of you got in the movie room. However, it was almost full and there were no empty 5 seats together.

You only found 3 on the front and 2 on the back.
'I'll sit with Jotaro and Kakyoin, while Joseph and Pol will sit together.' was the idea that came up to you, which you were about to propose until Jotaro spoke.

"I'll take the back seats with Y/n." He boldly stated and held your hand, you didn't even have time to react as he started dragging your towards your seats.

You settled down, Jotaro never letting go of your hand made your heart beat faster, let alone your face was madly blushing.
Then of course the lights dimmed and that didn't help at all, you felt your hand sweating a little and then started freaking out.

The seat was in the further back, nevertheless you didn't have any trouble watching the screen once the movie started, yet you couldn't focus on the movie.

You decided to eat your popcorn, you pulled one out then you noticed that Jotaro didn't get any popcorn.

Without giving it much thought, you held up your arm blocking his vision to the screen, in an attempt to give that one piece of popcorn to him.

He looked down at your hand expressionless, that only signaled you that it was a stupid idea. Of course it was, you could of just handed him the box or simply just ask him if he wanted any.

"O-oh sorry, that must have grossed you out.." you were about to pull back your hand but his sudden grip on your wrist couldn't let you do so.

He leaned in and took that piece to his mouth, his lips slightly touched your fingers and you almost squealed.
He then let go like nothing happened, and pulled out something from his pocket.

He showed you two matching bracelets.
'So that's why he kept staring down my hand the whole ride.' you realised.

As silent as he's always been, he put one bracelet on your wrist, it was a black one with a silver anchor.
"Are you not gonna make me wear mine?" He asked rather with a soft tone.

You blushed so hard, he always did things that left you unable to even utter a word, let alone have a proper reaction to it.
You looked at his bracelet, it was just like yours, except for the anchor was a bronze one.

You took his arm, put the bracelet on and pinned it. You bit your lower lip feeling embarrassed.
'Does this mean he likes me too?'

Jotaro intertwined his fingers with yours, his hand felt huge compared to yours and his fingertips felt a little harsh, but warm still.
You looked up in shock: "I hope.. you understand what I mean.."
He simply stated, sort of embarrassed..

You knew Jotaro didn't know how to express his feelings much, but you understood what he meant perfectly.

"Hmm.." you nodded happily, this was like a dream to you.

You rested your head on his shoulder and both of you enjoyed the rest of the movie.
