8. Pendant

Third person POV:

You stood in the middle of the room stunned, everyone had those ghosts behind their back and you couldn't believe your eyes.
You then looked at Jotaro who also had a blue/purple man floating behind his back, he looked at you shocked.

The room fell to an intolerable silence.

"Eeeh,.. are you not going to summon your stand or what?" Joseph said awkwardly, but you had no idea what he was talking about.

Jotaro's POV:

It's been forever since we called out our stands, waiting for Y/n to do the same, but apparently she's playing dumb, or not, I'm not sure.

Right then I had an idea that would confirm the situation.
I will use star platinum to fake attack her, I won't hurt her obviously I'll just touch her, and if she has a stand she'll definitely call it out to defend herself.

"ORA"

I did my plan and everyone's eyes widened in shock and shouted 'Don't!' in which I didn't pay any mind to.

Y/n gasped and shut her eyes immediately, but didn't move nor call out anyone.
That didn't surprise me as much as the fact that, my star platinum didn't touch her; couldn't reach all the way to her, there was a space between them that he could no longer go past.

Right then it hit me, I remembered what she told me once and I had to confirm one more thing.

Third person POV:

"ORA!" you heard then saw the purple being about to throw a punch at you, you didn't move but instead closed your eyes shut.
A part of you trusted that Jotaro won't hurt you, and a part decided to close your eyes in case the opposite happens.

But nothing happened.

You opened your eyes slowly, and the first thing you saw was Jotaro coming your way, he grabbed your shoulder with his large hand, and the other made its way to your chest by entering it from your shirt's neck.

Everything happened so fast that you couldn't even react to, all you know is that Jotaro is touching your chest skin directly, and your face was burning.

You felt like crying, but you couldn't, because if you could even do anything it'd be slapping that jerk.

"What the hell are you doing Jojo!" Joseph yelled kind of angry.

Jotaro finally let go of you and held up a necklace; your necklace.
And once again that purple man appeared, and poked your face, this time he successfully touched you unlike before.
You looked at him confused but he didn't show any expression then disappeared.

"As I thought." Jotaro looked at the necklace, "This thing protects you from stands huh."

Everyone drew back their 'stands' and sat down like nothing happened.
"Yare yare.." Jotaro sighed and explained to all of you that the necklace worked as a shield.
No one doubted you anymore because you clearly looked confused, so they explained everything to you, from the meaning of the word stand to how they defeated DIO; and it all felt like fantasy to you.

"But man you got us for a moment there." Pol complained.

"Thankfully, we were wrong." Kakyoin said looking relieved but soon that switched to being worried: "Would you please tell us where did you get it from? If a thing like this is to fall in the wrong hands, I'm not sure what could happen."

You looked down and told them it was a present.

Joseph yawned: "Let's investigate more about this tomorrow, I'll also call Avdol for some more informations. It's already late, let's go to bed for now."

Everyone nodded and began walking away, Jotaro with them.

Not only he didn't apologise for his previous behaviour, he completely ignored your usual little night meeting.

Jotaro glanced at you from the corner of his eye, he waited until everyone was in their rooms and went back to you.

"Not going to bed yet?" he asked and you decided to ignore him.
You felt really depressed at that moment.

"Sorry about earlier.." you heard and you almost couldn't believe it, but you weren't letting him off easily.

Now you faked your sadness: "You know you could just ask me for it, that aggressiveness was completely uncalled for." you reasoned disciplining him.

Jotaro just tipped his hat at your words, but you decided it still wasn't enough.
You looked at your shirt that was all wrinkled, the sewing all cut and its neck became ridiculously wider.

"And this was my favourite shirt.." You muttered unconsciously.

"Yare yare daze.. tomorrow.." Jotaro started but hesitated to continue.

You furrowed your eyebrows at him, meaning you wanted him to go on.

"Tomorrow, let's get you a new shirt." he finished, but not once looking at you.
You noticed his cheeks pink a little then you nodded.

Both of you exchanged good night wishes then went to bed.
Only then you realised, you're going to have a date with Jotaro tomorrow! you couldn't see it but your face must have turned red and you suddenly couldn't wait for the morning to come.

For once, you wanted the night to fade away, and be replaced by the day.
