9. Offing

Third person POV:

Your eyelids snapped open at the noise of your annoying alarm, but waking up wasn't that bad this morning.

Not today.

You grew looking forward to your days, your life lately has gotten busier you don't even have time to get depressed like in the older days. However you knew this won't last forever, Jotaro and the others will have to go back eventually.

You then decided to simply enjoy their company while they're here, not letting the sad thoughts get to you.

You showered and dressed up into something comfortable so it won't be a pain to change later, because today you're going shopping.

Once you got in the living room you were faced by Jotaro alone, he noticed you and stood up.

"Are they still asleep?" you asked but that obviously wasn't the case.

"No." Jotaro stated, his expression as blank as always, "They're out, trying to figure out about the necklace."

You just nodded, you appreciated that he chose to spend the day with you.
You both agreed on going to the mall in your city, so you'll just have to walk there, no need for you to drive.

The walk was silent but not uncomfortable, thought the women's stares at Jotaro seemed to discomfort him a little. You wanted to help him so you moved closer to him thinking that may lessen the stares, perhaps those women would think he's with his partner and quit staring.

Jotaro saw through your action, and he put his arm around your neck completely resting it on your shoulder.
You felt somehow embarrassed, yet happy your idea kind of worked, and those women let him walk in peace.

Not long after, you found yourselves at the main entrance of a big building: "We're here!" You declared. "I'll show you to my favourite shop!"

"You've been dragging me only to your 'favourite' places now." Jotaro looked down at you.

"I'm showing you my city so what!" You exclaimed laughing, "When it's your turn to drag me around your town i won't whine."

"We'll see about it." he replied, you chuckled thinking it was a joke, little did you know..

You stepped in the shop and Jotaro sighed: "Your 'favourite' one is mens'."

You shrugged, and started scanning around. Jotaro hasn't been exactly following you, seeing that he also was trying to pick some clothes.

After a while, you had a good amount of different shirts at hand, you decided to meet back with Jotaro, you easily found him because of his huge built and went his direction.

He noticed you so he stood in front of you, both of you checked what the other got then exploded laughing, though he only chuckled lightly.

"Do we have the same taste now?" You said amused.

You two had chosen the same shirts, different sizes thought.

Jotaro scoffed: "That's what I always get it's you who's choosing from the wrong place."

You frowned at his answer but you knew he was just teasing you.
Once you were by the cashier, you saw Jotaro adding another item but you didn't pay much attention to it, he payed then both you got out of there.

You were about to show him to another store but froze in place after feeling something around your neck, he wrapped a beautiful blue soft scarf around your neck, which almost covered your face too.

You touched it and looked up at Jotaro surprised, totally caught off guard.

"You always get cold when we go out at night, I don't wanna hear you complaining anymore so here.."
He said, tipped his hat so you couldn't see his eyes properly.

You blushed hard, what's this feeling he just made you experience?

The rest of the time you roamed around, bought some more random stuff, then had drinks at a café peacefully.

Right when you were about to leave the place you noticed a small store: "Wait a moment!" you stormed off to the store and went back rapidly.

"Here!" You held up a Dolphin key chain in front of Jotaro, his eyes brightened and he took it from your hand and hang it on his phone happily.

You smiled because you guessed right, he liked marine life, and his reaction made him appear like a baby stuck inside a huge body which was adorable.

You then had the idea: "Hey Jotaro!" You started and his attention now is on you, "Wanna view a beautiful sight?"

He raised a brow at your question but nevertheless followed your lead.
You crossed the bridge that separates your city from the beach, and soon only water was seen in front of you.

You giggled, remembering your first encounter was here.
You could hear the seagulls squealing, the air smelled like the sea, and the cool breeze felt refreshing.

Jotaro drew a cigarette and lit it, he then put it in between his lips, he looked at you and offered you the box.

You moved your arm to get it, but not from the box.
You grabbed the cigarette that was once on his lips, inhaled, and put it back.

Jotaro smirked at your bold action, "That is considered a kiss you know? though an indirect one."

"Oh yeah? did I ruin your first kiss?" You questioned playfully, though the truth was it was YOUR first.

The next thing that happened left you in a daze, Jotaro leaned down in front of your face, pecked your lips: "Yes."
said in a deep low voice.

Even though it was for an instant, his lips felt soft and you felt your face heat up, and the fact that it was both of your first kisses didn't help you calm down.

"So this is the beautiful sight you mentioned." Jotaro breathed out looking at the sun setting, as if sinking in the water.

You kept silent, your reaction only confirmed your previous doubts.

You liked him.
