13. Blessed

Third person POV:

The lights were once again on indicating the end of the film, you looked up at Jotaro who seemed to be dozing off, he looked peaceful.
"Jotaro wake up, we have to go out now." you softly whispered.

"Hmm.." he opened his eyes and quickly understood the situation then both of you walked out the room.

You stopped, your eyes examining the crowd.
"What are you looking for?" Jotaro asked you.

"Ah.. Kakyoin and the rest."

"Just leave them be, let's go."

"Huh? .. shouldn't we wait for them?"

"No." Jotaro took your hand into his, "Besides, I wanna spend time with you only." he boldly added.

You walked away from the movie theater with him flustered, both at his words, and also because you felt bad for leaving the others when they actually went out just to celebrate your birthday in the first place.

Yet you wouldn't say no to some private time with Jotaro.

The place was huge, it didn't only have a movie theater but many other places to hang out in.

As you two were walking, you felt people's eyes on Jotaro; mainly females.
That bothered you a little but you felt victory as they only could glance at him from afar, whilst you were there actually holding hands with him.

You were snapped out of your thoughts once you were faced with some place that caught your attention.
"Jotaro let's go there!" you pointed out your finger.

"A bowling club?" he asked, not sure of your proposal.

"Yes yes!!" you tugged on his sleeves excited, then he had no choice but to go with you.

You got in and started a game, you were pretty confident in your skills so you kept on smack talking.

Jotaro let you start first so you played your two times. You scored a spare; you knocked down 8 pins at first then finished the 2 left.

"Haha, beat this!" You shouted. And now it was Jotaro's turn.

He grabbed the ball, threw it to the lane and it soon fell to the left gutter.

"Don't throw at that speed! Be more careful." you tried to give him some advice as if you were some professional.

Jotaro chose a different ball now, a heavier one, and totally ignored your advice as he threw it again at some crazy speed, and force.
But this time knocked down all 10 pins at once.

You were surprised he was such a fast learner and that made you freak out a little which caused you to not hit any pins this round.

"Aren't you all big talk." he chuckled and played his turn, a strike again.

You got irritated and grabbed one heavy ball, you thought perhaps that is what's giving him those strikes.

However, you were only able to hold the ball for few seconds before it fell down the side of the lane, you forgot your wrist wasn't completely healed so you didn't even get the chance to throw your ball right.

You both kept on playing your turns until you were done. And what you didn't expect was,

Jotaro scored a perfect game.

They were all strikes unlike yours, and the screen showed the numbers.

Jotaro: 300 pts.
Y/n: 130 pts.

Jotaro held up his phone and snapped a picture of the screen, probably to bully you with it later you thought.

"Ugh, my wrist hurts." you complained dramatically, trying to blame anything for your miserable loss.

"We should of bet on something," Jotaro smirked, "I can't believe I let a chance like this slip, yare yare daze."

"Ehh.." you looked up at Jotaro completely accepting your defeat: "Fine, what is it that you want?"

"Hmm.." he looked at the phone on his hand and continued: "Let's take a picture together." he said, his voice almost inaudible at the end.

You felt relieved he didn't say anything weird so you obviously accepted.
Jotaro leaned down to your level, you smiled ready for the picture, and the moment he was about to take it,

Jotaro tilted his head to your side and kissed your cheek, you got shocked and that's when he snapped the picture.

You were dumbfounded and in a loss for words, you only knew that your face was burning hot it must look so red.

Jotaro smiled at the picture and blushed a little, but soon hid it with his hat.

"D-delete it!!" you stuttered embarrassed and of course he refused, you couldn't even snatch his phone because he held it high, higher than you would ever reach without some support.

You just looked at the key chain you gave him the other day, he still had it hung on his phone, you felt happy.

"I'm hungry." you said changing the topic.

"Let's get some food then." Jotaro replied simply and both of you walked to a restaurant nearby.

Just as you got to the entrance you saw Kakyoin and the rest standing there.
"Oh Y/n san!" Kakyoin pointed at you.

"Hey!" you replied surprised, but Jotaro wasn't, neither the others so you figured they must have agreed on meeting here from the very beginning.

All of you got in and took seats, you ordered your food and were waiting.
"How was the movie?" Pol started, "Did I choose right?"

You kept silence for some time, thinking of what to answer because you don't remember a single detail about it.

The first half of the movie you spent talking with Jotaro, the second half Jotaro slept in and you were too busy with your thoughts to focus on the screen.

"Uhh-"

"Fucking boring I even slept." Jotaro interrupted you not caring about Pol's feelings, nevertheless you felt relieved he helped you answer.

"What's up with you JOJOs!! Even your grand father slept throughout it."
Pol complained and you giggled at him.

The waiter came down with your plates and you enjoyed your food.
After you were done they caught you in surprise as they all started singing happy birthday, except for Jotaro who just tipped his hat.

You felt tears form in your eyes but you wiped them: "Thank you, really." you told them and they all smiled proudly, even Jotaro which was a rare cause.

It was time you got back, Joseph drove and you made it home, eventually to your bed.

"I could still enjoy this day after all."
