There's no great loss without some small gain
After a long walk, Izuku finally arrives at his prison. On the outside it seems like a nice family home with many good memories, but for Izuku this was all just a facade, for him this has been his prison for 6 year.
Izuku walks into the garden, around to the back of the house, and down to the basement door. After the family moved, his parents gave Izuku the whole basement. From their perspective it was to give Izuku more privacy, since they thought that he was very mature and wanted to be alone, but that was not the case, he didn't want to be alone, he was just neglected and forgotten most of the time.
He knew that nobody would be home right now, due to the conversation he eavesdropped to yesterday. He knew that they were out celebrating Izumi becoming the successor, and would not arrive home before later that afternoon.
The first thing he did was take a shower and evaluate his condition, it was hard to do everything with his left hand. The reason wasn't because his right hand was the dominant hand, since he was actually ambidextrous which means he can use both hands equally well, a skill he needed to pick up due to his tormentors always damaging his arms.
The problem was that he has lost all feelings and functionality in his right arm, this worried Izuku especially since it could get infected, and do more damage to his body if it stayed the way it is. After Izuku had cleaned, bandaged and patched up everything but his right arm, he went to the computer and started to look up if his arm could recover.
If Izuku wasn't broken right now, he would be pale and maybe throw up. This was due to the conclusion he arrived at, as of now his arm was beyond recovery and needed to be amputated. While researching how to do it, Izuku was listening to audio files and documentaries from 'Army Special Forces Medic', what they recommended and how they would do an emergency amputation.
~A few hours later~
Izuku was in his own bathroom since it was the cleanest part of his basement, Izuku found everything he needed to do this.
He has a tourniquet to stop major bleeding from when he severs his artery. There is also a thick cloth that he can bite on so that he doesn't ruin his teeth, and a saw which will be used to sever the arm. There were some clean towels on the wall for later use, some which were soaking in hot water for cleaning his wound. For safety reasons Izuku also placed rubbing alcohol, iron pan and a few syringes of adrenaline so that he does not pass out during surgery.
Before he could start he needed to do a few more things, he wrote 2 notes for his family, he created an untraceable new email sent all content and history from his computer to that email, in case his family tried to destroy the evidence of what had happened. Izuku also took a picture in front of a mirror of his body, as he had been doing everyday since he got a phone a few years ago, and sent that over to the email also.
He then packed everything he needed into his huge hiking backpack, he tried to only bring food that could last long like food in metal cans, and food that would not rot. He then packed survival tools he had, the last thing he packed was some books he had written and clothes he needed.
When he knew he could leave right after the surgery, the only thing missing was to clean the equipment he would use and the stove with rubbing alcohol, to sterilize them. The last thing he wanted after all this trouble, was to get an infection and die from a fever on the street.
After all was ready, he put the Iron pan on the electrical stove, turned up the heat and let it warm up while he removed the arm. Before Izuku started he thought to himself 'Is there anything I'm missing right now, oh yea I might need something for the pain'. Izuku already knew he had a huge tolerance to pain, but a pair of painkillers might not hurt the odds.
