If you don't share your pain with others,

then your emotions might break you apart.

Toga and Tobirama were both sitting around the campfire, waiting for their dinner to get ready. The cave that they've made their home base in, was located in the middle of a cliff.

Where one step out the entrance, would result in a normal person plummeting 61m / 200 feet downwards before hitting the rocks at the bottom, in which the outcome would be their death.

They've been sharing their base with Isobu who was in his chibi form, which they'd met earlier on their mission while visiting Namtso Lake in China. They traveled there after hearing some rumors of extraordinary natural events.

Like how every time scientists went there to research these events, a huge mist would suddenly appear. It would first disorient them before making them go unconscious, and within a day they would wake up in a forest a short distance away from the lake.

Isobu attacked the duo after seeing them unaffected by his genjutsu mist, but he quickly stopped after recognizing Matatabi Chakra inside Toga. After his attacks stopped he appeared in front of them asking if he could really feel his sibling inside of Toga, to which she just summoned out Matatabi in her chibi form.

Matatabi then told him that she'd been living with their other four siblings, how Kurama and Shukaku became nicer and how they've all been getting along well. After some more convincing from her he'd accepted the invitation to move home with them.

It has already been two months since both of them left their assignment, and they've still not gotten any good news about Izuku's condition. This was mentality straining for both of them, especially for Toga since she still till this day blamed herself for his current condition.

Tobirama had been trying his best to avoid talking about that specific topic. He'd seen how it affected her fighting, where she'd failed he easily filled in. She'd been also eating less for each passing day, to which he'd fixed by forcing her to eat food pills that Tsunade had prepared.

But now she'd been skipping out on sleep, Toga couldn't handle seeing him happy in her dreams. She'd told Tobirama that seeing Izuku there like that, while also knowing full well that he's not okay, only increased her guilt and pain.

He'd promised Izuku and the others that he'd look after her, but at the rate she's going he might not be able to protect her much longer. He looked towards Toga and saw that she was staring into the campfire like she was in a trance, her facial expression was still filled with guilt and pain, and it only grew with each passing day that Izuku was in a coma.

With that in mind, he took a deep breath before he himself looked down into the campfire, and with a gentle tone he said out loud "He is still alive you know? So could you please stop punishing yourself so much?"

His statement made her look up at him in shock, due to this being the first time in two months he had brought up this subject. She looked at him and saw his eyes glaring deep into the campfire. She could see the reflection of the campfire in his eyes, even though the sclera in his eyes were a pitch black color due to the reanimation jutsu.

Toga could see In his eyes' reflection, that he was staring deeply at the intense white part of the flame. He looked like he was hypnotized by it, but in truth he was just using the flame as a trauma trigger, to recall his painful memories from when he was alive.

She was about to give him a reply on his comment, but was quickly interrupted when he decided to start talking again. His face was full of sorrow as his tone was filled with sadness and pain.
