Chapter 20

Izuku's adventure to his hometown

Izuku woke up earlier than normal and saw that today was the 6th of August, It's been a week since he'd beat up All Might. Izuku carefully got up out of bed, while trying to not wake Toga. He silently went to the library, where he and the others were planning Toga's birthday party while she was sleeping.

After all of the preparations were done and everyone knew their tasks, the only thing that was missing were the gifts. Izuku's gift was in the city he was raised, he planned to buy something precious that fit perfectly for Toga, but before he left he'd transformed back into his Mitsuki form.

When he arrived at the city he noticed a huge screen on the building, which was broadcasting some trending news. With his curiosity peaked, he stayed and listened to the broadcast.

The news was stating something about All Might being on vacation somewhere in Japan, and while being there he never stopped working, stopping a few crimes and robberies before going back to relax. There was even a picture of All Might in some casual clothes sightseeing.

Izuku heard people talking around him, stating things like 'All Might is so down to earth', 'Even on vacation he is still the number one hero' and 'He still looks cool in his casual clothes acting like a civilian'.

Knowing the truth he thought to himself 'Hahaha if they only knew the truth. Looks like Nezu took my advice, still I'm impressed how realistic it looks', before walking towards the store he was looking for.

Izuku was carrying a bag with Toga's gift when he felt hungry. Craving the local cuisine, he went to a nearby restaurant that he used to visit a lot when he was younger. He sat down in one of the booths closest to the widow, and ordered his favorite food which was Katsudon with a bubble tea at the side.

While Izuku was waiting for his food, he was looking out the window absorbing the scenery. It had been over a year since he was in this city.

He saw some parents window shopping with their child, a young couple kissing, a pair of old people playing chess, a group of teenagers with what seemed like interesting quirks, some of which were mutation quirks like shark head, four arms, rabbit attributes, gorilla like arms and so on.

Izuku was eating his food, when he heard the door open while making the bell ring, notifying that someone entered the restaurant. He'd ignored it until he heard some familiar voices, voices he could impossibly mistake for others, making him look down at his food to avoid eye contact.

People that entered the restaurant walked past Izuku, sat down in a booth across from him, before looking through their menu list. To confirm his suspicions Izuku looked up from his food, to see them sitting in a booth in front of him while talking.

He was so glad that he used his other appearance, since he didn't know if they would recognize him. Sitting in the booth were all his tormentors, his sister Izumi and her friends Katsumi, Katsuki, Shota, Shoto and Ochaco.

He wanted to finish up his meal, so that he could leave as fast as he could. That was until their conversation made him curious, making him eavesdrop on them.

Katsumi asked Izumi in a comforting voice "Are you still getting nightmares about your brother?" making Izumi only nod. Ochaco asked her "If you ever want to talk about them, then we're here for you. And if you still can't tell us, then you need to tell someone else."

Izuku was wondering why she wasn't sharing with them, they are her best friends. Katsuki in an irritated and angry voice said "It's probably because Deku ran away" before Katsumi with the same voice stated "I don't understand why he would leave, his parents are awesome".
