[Short A/N before we start: As you may have noticed, last night was the last update, so it's been over 24 hours since I've updated. This is because I've had school work etc., but also because I've been working on a new cover art, since the last one was one that I found online and it didn't match my vision for the story. I like this one a lot better and I've implemented elements of the story into it :) With that said, let's begin!]

[Catra's POV]

I didn't expect that coming into school would lead to me basically bonding myself to Adora for life, only a week after meeting her.

As much as I wanted to learn to love, the whole magic part was almost forcing me to: leaving me with no choice but to stick to Adora from this point forward.

- "It's weird how Entrapta gathered all of that information from just the dream," Adora gathered, scratching her chin, "she didn't even have to see us before making her theories."

- "But then again," I counter, "that's all that they could be. Theories. Maybe half of them aren't even correct."

- "True, but it seemed quite suspicious."

- "Hmm... yeah... I don't know how she even managed to get to most of those conclusions."

- "And her final theory?" Adora started, rubbing her thumb and index fingers in between her eyes, on the bridge of her nose, "What does she even mean by that? Be unpredictable? How is that even going to help?"

- "I'm not sure, Blondie, but we'll figure this out."

I turn back to look at Mara, who was staring at her laptop screen, mortified.

- "Mara, are you alright?" I ask, worried as to why she looked so scared.

She breathed out sharply before slamming her laptop shut and pulling out the CD.

- "Yes. I'm fine. Entrapta, here's your CD back." she answered flatly, holding the disk out.

- "Thank you Mara and you two! This has been very helpful for my research! I will come to your dorm next time, so that I don't pull into your work time too much, since today is the only Saturday I was able to get free!" Entrapta responded, so me and Adora nodded, getting up to leave.

- "Girls," Mara started, "maybe don't play the song unless it's necessary. We're still not sure what it can do. Also, I want to give you some privacy... for obvious reasons." she finished by glancing at my neck.

- "Will do." Adora answered, taking my hand and walking me out of the room, while our cheeks flushed red.

- "2 vanilla ice creams please, one for me and one for Bow." Sparkles told the waiter.

A few days had passed since our meeting with Entrapta and Mara. A few hours after the meeting, Entrapta had come to collect the necklace, getting straight to work on it, but that was the last we had heard of it.

Since Sparkles had promised after winning the bet, we all decided we would go out for ice cream after lessons today, even though we were exhausted.

The parlour we had gone to was cute and cosy. Fairy lights dripped down from around the ceiling, oak furniture surrounded the café and calm, indie pop music played in the background.
