[A/N: Not much to say since I just posted a notice, but this chapter is from Mara's POV only! I loved writing this chapter because it let me be more creative, so I hope you enjoy! P.S. If you haven't realised, in the cover art, it's Mara's eyes at the back!]

[Mara's POV]

As I walked back into Entrapta's classroom after going to see Glimmer, I saw Entrapta sitting at her desk and twiddling the necklace between her thumbs.

The blue orb had small flickers of starlight glistening within it, but overall it was dull.

The small, golden handle attached to the bulb made it look like a sword, which I've always liked.

When I first formed the necklace, I didn't want it to be soft and feminine. Magic isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of power and strength, and what better way to show that, than to turn it into a sword?

Entrapta kept fiddling with it and clipping wires to it, staring intensely into the orb.

I sighed, walking in and locking the door.

- "What are you doing?" I ask.

Although I knew she was studying the necklace again, I wasn't sure why.

- "Well... I'm looking for more solutions. Hypothetically, if the necklace stores memories, we should be able to access them. I've been trying to figure it out for a few weeks now, but I keep coming to a dead end. Maybe you know how?" Entrapta investigates.

- "Well that's easy," I giggle, "I just need to touch the orb."

- "Oh. Why did you say anything sooner?!" she questions, half-disappointed and half-intrigued.

I walked up to the necklace and touched it gently with my index finger.

A blaze rushed through my blood. A warmth heated my body, starting with my hands and spreading to my feet and head. I felt my eyes shine blue and I blinked harshly, releasing the stardust from my eyes and into the air.

- "YOU CAN DO THAT?" Entrapta yells, in awe.

- "Well it is my magic, after all."

- "Yes... but WHAT? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!"

I ignore her, trying to focus my energy into forming the memories around us in blue smoke.

Figures and voices started appearing.

These memories were not only mine, but also those who connected with the necklace.

Once I released all the magic I could, I held onto the desk, making sure I don't pass out.

- "Fascinating..." Entrapta whispered.

It was truly amazing. Pastel blue figures floated in the air and decorated the classroom, some more clear and vivid and some more blurry.

I noticed a memory we had analysed back with Adora and Catra.

- "I told you! Never underestimate me, defective, insolent child. Your actions are far too much this time."

The child on the ground kept switching, until it landed on me.

The scene usually ended here.

But I had touched the orb.

It had access to the memories that I had within me.
