[A/N: I was going to just go for a full on Entrapta POV today, but ig this'll work too... please be prepared to cry maybe? I'll do some Entrapta and Glimmer POVs in the next one, just because this kinda drags on so yah👏]

[Scorpia's POV]

As Catra sat there with Adora's hair splayed onto her lap and out of her usual ponytail, Mermista and I stood there and just let a moment of relief pass by.

She was okay.

Mermista, although not knowing much about Adora, had a relaxed smile on her face, which was unusual for her, since usually her sarcasm and cockiness were more prominent.

When I looked at the way Catra was staring into Adora's eyes, I felt a twinge of jealousy in my heart.

Over the past few weeks of talking with Catra every so often, I noticed that I had been seeing her as maybe... more than a friend.

I hadn't realised it at first.

And I wasn't planning on telling anyone. Ever.

Because I knew Adora was the one she was always thinking about.

She would speak about Adora all the time when we would hang out. Whether it be in the canteen or in our music lessons, which Catra seemed to despise, but love at the same time.

It's weird.

I can't read her.

But in this moment, I could.

See, I actually overheard her and Mermista when they spoke on the balcony, and I could hear the Catra talk about the message Adora had sent Catra about kissing her.

I could see in Catra's eyes that she was ready to take up Adora's offer. Right there and then.

But instead, she just runs her fingers through Adora's mane and smiles, waiting for her to explain what was wrong.

- "She'll be okay. Just give her some water to ease her breathing." a new voice emerged from outside of the door.

- "Miss Star? Starla? Jer?" Mermista lights up even more.

- "Yes! We found Adora on the ground unconscious and we brought her straight here in our car!" the young, curly blonde (who I assumed was Starla) giggled.

Catra's face sunk.

- "You were knocked out?" she whispered at Adora, to which Adora's brows knitted together, and she coughed gently into her hand.

A faint scent of copper surrounded us, and we all realised what Miss Star, the oldest woman, had meant.

- "I'm sorry I wasn't in lesson." Mermista told Miss Star, trying to break the silence, as Catra revealed the red liquid in Adora's palm, before taking her in her arms to the kitchen.

- "It's okay. I understand. Did you work the shift longer than usual aswell?" Miss Star questioned.

- "Yeah. Catra needed a pick-me-up, so I got her behind the counter to make herself a burrito." she smirked.
