Then in the next one we will focus back on the fact that they're actually at school because that whole plot almost flew out of the window. I'm probably not gonna update the A/N with trigger warnings anymore, unless they're very strong, so just keep an eye out for the warnings in the story. Enjoy! P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ENTRAPTA THAT IS VERY SWAG! (as you can see I started writing this a while ago...)]

[Adora's POV]

- "Catra!" I yell, banging at the elevator door, even though I had known full well that it had already gone down to the next level.

I could still hear her muffled cries through the metallic doors.

Loud crashes came soon after and then silence.

- "Adora..." Glimmer tries to comfort me by putting her hand on my shoulder.

- "Glimmer why- ?" was all I could get out, before a surging wave of sadness and doubt crept over me.

- "I'm sorry." she whispers.

- "No," I snap, "if you were really sorry, you wouldn't have done it in the first place. W-Why did you lie, knowing you were doing the same thing we did to you?"

- "I- I was scared." she murmured.

- "Bullshit."

The cold word rolled off of my tongue in spite, as I looked into Glimmer's eyes.

Some of the glittering shine still retained in them, rattling around her irises.

- "Absolute bullshit."

I repeat the phrase again, not being able to control my anger any longer.

I push her hands off of my shoulders with a sly smirk, before laughing hysterically.

The laugh was awkward and uncomfortable, because I had made it to be. The others stood paralysed in confusion.

- "Catra might not be anything more than my friend," I felt weird about saying this, knowing they had had some interesting moments, to say the least, "but I care about her enough to know that what you did, was not fair to her, Glimmer."

Glimmer's face showed signs of defeat and hurt when I said this, but it was only for her own good.

The elevator door rung loudly, signifying that the pod had returned to our level.

But Catra didn't come out from it.

Mara did.

- "Catra ran out. I don't know where to, but she's gone." she breathed.

- "I'm going after her. If any of you think to follow me, then think again." I state and rush onto the next flight of stairs.

[Glimmer's POV]

I knew what I had done was messed up.
