Woo young's POV
The sun shone directly through the glass windows into my eyes. I realize I fell during work and now I would get a scolding from my brother. The doorbell chimes as it informs the arrival of a customer. It's a pretty girl who looks gorgeous in my eyes. I rush to the counter to take the order because no one's present there at the moment. I wonder where brother went?
"What would you like to order, miss?" I ask the lady in front of me as she gazed along with the chalkboard menu above me.
"A regular hot chocolate and an Oreo cheesecake would do." She answers with a faint smile which doesn't fail to make my heart feel a thing. Everything about her pretty.
"Anything more miss?" I ask for any further requests.
"no, and I would like to dine in." She says as I completely forget about the serving.
"your name, Miss?" I question while making eye contact with her.
"y/n" she responds as a faint blush appears on her cheeks.
That was the day I met her and she comes around every day and I can't help but keep an eye on her.
Y/n orders a regular hot chocolate and Oreo cheesecake before leaving to take a seat at her favourite spot situated at the end of the café while she watches the passer-by and her work on the laptop.
Once I got caught by my elder brother for staring at her during my morning shifts. He said it might weird out her and I wouldn't have a chance.
The time when she ordered was the only interaction we had and I didn't fail to make her blush every single time.
It's almost 3 weeks and every day the same routine continues. I love to come early in the morning so that I don't miss her visit to the café.
"Today I'll surely ask her out and I know she cannot decline me by any chance," I say as I look at in the mirror while the lines, I want to say to her.
I take a last look in the mirror before heading downstairs to have breakfast with our family.
"Good morning mom, good morning dad. Hey Woo!" I greet everyone who is seated at the dining table as I descend the staircase.
"Really happy today." My brother squeals on which my dad remarks,
"Thinking of a new mischief, woo young?"
"Someone has caught your son's eye and I'm worried her. Don't scare her away woo youngie!" My brother pleaded out.
"I'm not like you though," I State Out in irritation as the whole table except my brother burst out into laughter.
"You are going to pay for this." He threatens me as I roll my eyes at his silly behaviour.

At the café
"You got this wooyoungie. You can do it." The person who just predicted a while ago that I would scare her away is now encouraging me. People are strange.
I glance at the Y/n should be here at this moment. Maybe she woke up a bit late today. Don't think much about it woo young.
An unknown feeling grew inside me making me worry whether she'll make it to the café safely or not. I try to shake away the feeling off but I become really tense until my brother comes and calms me down.
"You okay, woo?" he questions and I reply with a small yes.
The nervousness wasn't enabling me to breathe properly, sweat was dripping down my forehead and the negative thoughts in my mind were just making it worse as each second passed away.
I see y/n's little figure from the window in front of our café as she is about to cross it. I stand in front of the glass window and watch her crossing the road. She luckily sees me and waves her hand in the air and I return the same with a smile.
That's when it hit me. The worst happened which I didn't even imagine.
A car hits y/n as she lifts halfway in the air and fall. I ran outside and look at the aftermath. There lay her bloody figure on the road.
My breathing hitched and my knees gave up as I gasp in shock by seeing the image in front of my eyes. I take her figure in my arms as countless tears trail down my eyes.
I couldn't move an inch nor speak any word as I watched her lifeless form resting in my arms.
If only I had waited outside for her and not be a distraction to her, y/n would be alive now, sitting in her favourite spot as she laughed at my silly jokes.
All the sweet memories went away, only the present scene and guilt filled my mind. If only I would have confessed to her earlier, she would have at least known that I liked her
I could have heard her voice and see her laughing for the last time. If only......
"So, what happened after that? Do you still remember her?" The young therapist questions as he clicks his pens while I'm still lost in my thoughts. He pats my shoulder which pulls me out of my trance.
"Yeah, San-ssi. But not confessing to her in the time I had will be my biggest regret." I say as the terrible memories fill my thoughts again.
"I'll make sure it won't be a regret to you anymore. " Mr. Choi remarks as he smiles while getting up from his seat.
"And your café and the story behind it is so beautiful." Mr. Choi chimed while we both head to the front door to exchange goodbyes.
"It was a pleasure seeing and hearing you out today Mr. Jung." He beamed out with joy which displayed his dimples and my heart melted at that moment.
"It was a pleasure seeing you too Mr. Choi." I giggle at his cuteness.
"Till then, please take of yourself." He added before heading towards his car and driving away.
Mr. Choi doesn't seem that bad.
