           AJ Kane is 17 years old. As soon as she was old enough to walk properly, she was taught how to act like a respectable person- follow the laws, even if you don't agree with them. Be polite to people who are meaner than the devil himself. When she was 13, she came out as a lesbian. There was the third rule broken. To say the least, her family immediately thought the worst of her, even hated her for tarnishing the Kane name. Her boyish haircut and clothes were the final straw. She was disowned by the Kane family. A few years lately, she had gotten tired of it all. She had already broken two of the major laws- how could she be more in more trouble? She escaped to Earth, with high hopes of a better life, just to find out that Earth is just as sick, just in different ways.

Rule One- This should go without saying, but the world is full of jerks so I'm going to say it anyway- be nice and respectful. I will only give one warning and this is it: jerks will be blocked. I don't care if your character application is the best thing I've ever seen. If you are mean, I will kick you out.

Rule Two- FILL OUT ALL PARTS OF THE APPLICATION! Unless it says *optional*, fill it out. If you need clarification on a certain part, don't be afraid to ask! You can ask in a comment or send me a private message, whatever works for you. We've all been novices before, it's OK to ask what something means. :)

Rule Three- I know this makes me sound like an arrogant b***h, but you need to be following me so I can tag you in this book if you make the cast list. Password One is your favorite TV Show- if you don't have one (like me), you can just say one you really like or the one you're watching now. My answer would be Shadowhunters, if you're wondering. I promise not to tag you in anything else if you don't want me to. You're welcome to unfollow me after the book is finished.

Rule Four- This book must be added to a reading list so you get notifications when I post a new chapter.

Rule Five- You must be active! No, you don't have to comment and vote on every chapter, but please, comment when you see something you like or even when you see something you hate! Password Two is a picture of the best health mask you've seen all year (mine's up top!). A URL will work fine, I just wanna see what you come up with. Point out my bad grammar! Make jokes! Please, anything constructive or kind or funny (without being mean) is welcome.

Rule Six- There isn't much left I don't think. Just to clarify, there are two passwords in this applyfic. If you've read the rules, you'll find both of them. :)

Rule Seven- This is more like a statement than a rule. In this book, there are two runaway Zarrocans and 4 Zarrocan 'chasers'. One of the runaways is me. The other runaway will be a female, as it will be AJ's ( my character) girlfriend. The chasers are the people that come after AJ and her girlfriend. They are sorta considered evil in the book, but they are still a big part. There are 4 Earthlings, as well. Be sure to make male characters.
