The Lie

"I know..."

The words radiated in his head as he stared at the empty ceiling of Eret's castle. He hated himself for not talking with Sapnap last night. He could've fixed it, but no. He decided to be a coward. He wished they hadn't argued. He doesn't like being away from him.

Sapnap was his comfort. The one person they made life livable. He just wants him back. Just to have a normal conversation with him. He didn't want to have the life altering conversation with Sapnap. Even though he knows it will probably figure itself out, like it always has.

He wanted to go to the community house but he was scared Sapnap was gonna be there. It was his comfort space too, he didn't want to barge in. Suddenly, Tubbo ran into Eret's castle full speed, almost knocking into a lamp. Tommy was right behind him but wasn't paying attention and ran into Tubbo.

They both fell straight to the floor, Tubbo knocking his head on the lamp on his way down. Dream giggled sitting up, "You guys okay?" They both looked at each other before looking back at Dream. "What? What happened?"

"Someone blew up the community house." Dream's heart dropped. He bolted out the door. He could hear Tommy and Tubbo shouting at him but he couldn't care. Everything else was a blur, everything other than the community house.

It was destroyed. It was overflowing with water, the only pieces that remained was a small bit of the floor. He looked at it in shock, he could feel tears welling up in his eyes. He saw someone on the other side of the water, Sapnap. They shared a look but decided not to talk to each other.

He heard footsteps behind him. "You can't just leave the two boys alone, someone just blew up the community house! They could be in danger!" Wilbur said, sounding pissed off but Dream couldn't care. He just wanted to find who did this. They needed to pay, this was the oldest building around here. He honestly didn't have a clue who it could've been but he'll find out.

Sapnap lays in Karl's bed, he's been here for the past hour. Karl wasn't home, he was with Alex who had called him so they could make a flower patch. Sapnap didn't know what to do at this point. He wanted to hang out with his friends, but his argument with Dream, the community house, this felt like a lot to handle. He wanted to go with Dream, talk with him once and have it be normal. Like they hadn't argued in the first place.

His thoughts were interrupted by a hand over his mouth. He heard a familiar voice, "Don't move it will only make things worse..."

Karl and Alex had finished getting the flowers in the patch. Now they just have to grow. They decided to get some cake pops from Niki's shop before going back home. Where Sapnap was. Karl had tried to cheer him up as much as he could, but he knew that Dream and him had to talk. He just didn't know if either of them had the balls to do it.

They walk back home three cake pops in hand. They passed Tommy and Tubbo who were about five feet away from his door. They were talking about Tubbo's new fish he got yesterday. Karl smiled at them and opened his front door. He was expecting to see Sapnap still on the bed. But instead he saw the window broken and a note attached to it.

We took Sapnap. We'll end this place.

Karl was taken aback, he dropped the cake pops on the bed and ran to Eret's castle. The place where Dream is. Dream will know what to do, he'll know how to get him back. Right?

Sapnap's eyes opened to a foreign room. He tried to put context clues together but his brain was scattered. He was a poster on the wall; he tried to read the letters but could only process a few,

While he was trying to read the blurry words a familiar voice came from behind him...

Dream was sitting at the wall, he was trying to glue his mask back together. He dropped it when trying to put it on. Just as he finished, Karl ran into the room almost hitting a lamp. Alex was right behind him but wasn't paying attention and ran into Karl.

They both fell straight to the floor, Karl knocking his head on the lamp on his way down. Dream giggled standing up, "You guys okay?" Karl looked up at him with tear-filled eyes. "What? What's happened?"

Karl handed Dream the note. "They took him, they took him." Karl sobbed. Alex looked confused, he hadn't seen the note. Karl ran out before he could look at it.

Dream was thinking. Who hasn't been with us all week? Who could've been conspiring with Technoblade? Who's been missing?

Dream was thinking back to every major event that happened recently who hadn't been there. Dream come on think... I got it

Anyways AU where Dream doesn't blow up the community house.

Also I want to watch Ranboo's pov but I watched one clip and I was shaking. Derealization gives me a lot of anxiety. When Dream said he wasn't real I had to pause and get water so i didn't pass out. Ranboo's character seems intresting and I can't wait to see it grow.
