Sirana went to tell Grayson and Andromeda that Severus had regained consciousness. When she went into the living room, Grayson was holding Teddy, feeding him while
Andromeda sat next to them, smiling.
"You look like a natural, Grayson," Sirana said.
"I have two younger sisters—twins. My mother would let me help with them. She said I never dropped a baby, not even when the rocking chair I was sitting in broke...I held on to that baby," he said proudly. "They have their own children now, and I've done my fair share of babysitting."
She noticed how happy he looked. "Well, I have some good news. Severus woke up," Sirana said.
"Is he alright?" Grayson asked.
"Yes, he spoke. I think he's going to be just fine. He shooed me off and went back to sleep," she said, smiling.
"I'm so relieved for you, Sirana. I can see how much you care for him. I know he'll be fine with you taking care of him," Andromeda said.

"Oh, I'm sure that's going to be a battle in itself. Madam Pomfrey said he needs to stay in bed a week, and I don't think that's going to go over well," Sirana said, knowing she was going to have a fight on her hands. She would take it though, and she knew it would all be worth it to have him back.
"Harry Potter is coming tomorrow to see Teddy. He is Teddy's godfather. We will have to keep Severus's presence hidden. I don't think Harry would understand," Andromeda said.
"Maybe one day. I hope that eventually people will know the truth about him," Sirana said, thinking aloud. "But I'm not worried about that now. I haven't really thought about what happens now—where we will go or what we will do. My grandfather may still have the place that Albus gave him, so I'm not really worried about having a place to stay when he recovers. I just don't know what he will do. I can't see me going back to Hogwarts without Severus, especially now that Albus is gone."
"You don't have to worry about yourself, Sirana," Grayson said. "The Order will need you, now more than ever, to regain control of the Ministry and maintain order. I don't know about Severus though. You will have to cross that bridge when you come to it."
"Or build our own bridge," Sirana said, surprised that she had no worries for their future. They had stood against the gates of hell together, and she knew in her heart that they would find their way.
Andromeda was a good host, and the Order was lucky to have her on their side. Sirana noticed that Grayson hadn't

mentioned how long he was going to stay, but Andromeda didn't seem to mind his company. Grayson helped her with the baby, as well as with the chores around the house. Her intuition told her that they were quickly growing fond of each other. She hoped that was the case, as Grayson had never seemed so happy and content since she'd known him.
Severus slept through the evening and into the night. At one point, he started to stir in his sleep, and he was talking. She woke up too late to really make out any of his words.
"Sirana," he said, more clearly now.
"Yes, Severus, I'm here. Is there anything I can get you?" she asked.
"A drink,"he said. She took the water from the bedside table. She helped him take a drink and made him comfortable again.
"Stay with me," he said, and she sat next to him on the bed where he could see her. She stroked his face, speaking softly to him until he fell back asleep. She moved to the chair next to the bed, pulling her knees up under her chin, and sat with him until morning.
Later that day, Harry Potter came to visit his godson, and to pay his respects to Andromeda. Andromeda was feeding the baby, so Sirana met him at the door. He seemed surprised. "Welcome, Harry. Come on in," Sirana said.
Harry entered the living area, and Grayson stood to meet him.
"Harry, this is Grayson. He's a member of the Order of the Phoenix," Sirana said, and they shook hands.

"I knew your parents. It's good to finally meet you," Grayson said.
"Good to meet you," Harry said, then looked at Andromeda and the baby. "I'm sorry about Remus and Tonks, Dromeda. They were two of my favorite people. How's the baby?"
"Here, I'll help you," Grayson told Andromeda, picking up the baby from her lap.
"Here, Harry," Grayson said, holding the baby for Harry to take. "Here's your godson."
"He's so tiny," Harry replied, holding his arms in a cradle so that Grayson could place the baby there.
Grayson gently laid the baby in his arms, holding the baby's head. At that time, a voice came from the doorway. "Potter." Severus was standing in the doorway to the bedroom, shirtless, wearing only his boxers.
Harry's mouth dropped open, and Teddy almost slid from his arms. Grayson leaped forward and grabbed the baby, then handed him gently back to Andromeda.
"Well, she obviously didn't pick you for your timing,"Grayson said to Severus in an admonishing tone.
"Professor Snape! It's not possible," Harry said, staring at Severus, still in shock.
