"Oh and we have to get our nails done while we're out!" Anne said cheerfully as she finished washing down the counter tops of the kitchen. I laughed and sipped my coffee, feeling bad for not helping, but she insisted that I relax even though I told her it wasn't a bother.
"That would be great," I looked at my unpainted nails. "I really need one." She laughed at my grimace as I analyzed the uncolored, rugged nails.
"We should also get pedicures." She adds before wringing out the sponge that she was using above the sink and placing it in the cabinet beneath it. I smiled and nodded my head, agreeing with her. She was about to say something else until her eyes looked at something behind me. "Oh hi, honey." I pivoted my body around to look at my drowsy boyfriend as he stretched his arms in the air and rubs the sleep from his eyes. His muscles flexed on his shirtless body as his arms reached for the ceiling and I couldn't help, but bite my lip as I stared. "So," Anne clapped her hands together, breaking my bashful connection towards Harry's toned body. I quickly peeled my eyes away from him and looked towards her, praying neither of them noticed my creepy stare. "When do you want to leave?" She asked as Harry took a seat next to me. I forced my eyes to stay on her as he propped his head up with his hands, his elbows connecting with the counter tops below. I shrugged my shoulders up and down.
"It doesn't matter to me, whenever you're ready." I give her a gleaming smile. She returned it, her shining, white teeth showing.
"All right," She started to walk to the lounge, to go upstairs I assume. "I'll go take a quick shower then we can go." I nodded my head at her, telling her okay. She continued to walk towards the stairs until she stopped in her tracks and turned back around to look at her son and I. "Oh and Harry?" He turned in his seat to look at her.
"Yeah?" He asked, saying his first word this morning. His voice was coarse and I could feel my breath getting caught in my throat at the sound of it.
"They're is some left over eggs, bacon, and toast on the stove so help yourself." She said with a smile before traveling up the stairwell. Harry nodded and turned his body back around before his orbs eyed the food on the stove. I watched him cautiously, a little nervous since he hasn't said a word to me.
There is nothing I could have done wrong. Last night was like any other. We kissed, hung out, enjoyed each other's presence, cuddled, talked, and slept. It was our original routine when we aren't exhausted and ready to pass out from the shows and traveling.
"Harry?" I break the uncomfortable silence we were currently sitting in.
"Hmmm?" He hums, not looking my way.
"Are you okay?" I ask him. I notice him crinkle up his eyebrows before turning his head and finally making eye contact with me. I smiled as his sparkling, emerald eyes stare into my brown ones.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I bring my shoulders up before letting them fall.
"I don't know," I bit the inside of my cheek. "You just seem a little off today."
"I'm just tired, thats all." He says as a small yawn escapes from his lips, proving his statement.
"Then why don't you take a nap?" I suggest before taking a small sip of my coffee.
"I'm going to once you two leave. I want to spend as much time with you as possible." His eyes rake my body up and down. "I guess I should have gotten up earlier, seeing that you are already dressed and ready to go." He smiles at my appearance. I blush a bit before pushing a strand of my smooth, straight hair behind my right ear.
"Its fine." I tell him. "You deserve sleep," I grab ahold of his arm and snuggle myself into his muscular frame. I then look up at him and give him a small smile. "You work too hard."
