Beep, beep, beep

My stomach dropped as the sound of my alarm clock startled me. I turned my head towards the obnoxious noise before groaning and hitting the snooze button. I sat up in my bed and looked at the time.

7:00 a.m

I let out a sigh before slipping out of my comfy bed and making my way towards the bathroom to take a quick shower. Thankfully, I don't have to wait in line to take one because nobody was home besides Mason and I.

Once I entered the small wash room, I turned on the water to the shower right away and waited for it to heat up. As I did that, I got undressed and took my hair out of its messy bun. I stepped into the warm shower after that, getting my body and hair wet. After putting shampoo in my hair, I washed my body and while it was rinsing I couldn't help but notice how weird I felt today. Butterflies were in my stomach and I felt nervous. I just don't know why.

After finishing up with my shower, I got dressed into a decent outfit. I then left my hair natural again before putting on a little bit of mascara. Once I finished doing that, I put on some deodorant and perfume before brushing my teeth. After finishing up everything, I looked at myself in the mirror. I was ready for work.

"Where are you going?" Somebody asked me as I walked towards the front door of my house. I froze in my tracks and didn't glance at them. I didn't even want to look at them.

"Work." I told Luke flatly before ripping the door open and slamming it shut after exiting the house. The diner was a few miles away and I was not walking so I decided to take the car Mason and I shared.

Once I entered the car, I started it up and backed out of our small driveway before taking a right on to the main road. I turned up the radio a little bit and to my surprise, One Direction was playing. I smiled and turned it up louder before singing along to their song, What Makes You Beautiful. I hate Crystal and Gia for making me listen to them, but if I had to admit it, I actually found their music quite catchy. Now that I'm thinking of it, I know all of their songs and names, but I don't even know what these boys look like and I'm meeting them. I wonder if they're as attractive as everybody says?

It took me about fifteen minutes to get to the diner and once I arrived, I parked in my normal space before exiting the car and going straight in. It wasn't busy at all today, since its a Tuesday.

"Hi Faith." Maggie waved. I gave her a smile and waved back as I wrapped my apron around my waist.

"What tables am I serving today?" I asked her as she handed me my pen and pad.

"You're serving the entire back section." I frowned at her response.

"But thats where all the snobby people sit." She laughed at my reply.

"Which makes it even more exciting." She told me sarcastically. I rolled my eyes playfully.

"I wish." She laughed at me before giving my body a slight shove towards the back. I let out a groan underneath my breath before going to the first table. It was a woman plus a man and they were both very concentrated on their menus that our hostess, Layla gave to them. "Hi, I'm your waitress, Faith and I am going to be serving you today." I said to them with a smile. They both turned their heads towards me and right away, I could tell I wasn't getting a very big tip.

"Hi." The man said flatly. I let out a breath.

"Is their anything I can get you for drinks?" The woman nodded.

"Yes, we would both like tea." I nodded and wrote "Two Teas" down on my pad.

"Is that all?" The woman stared at me with a blank face.
