"Mummy, look at all the snow!" A young, curly headed brunette screamed while running around a large yard with her mouth opened wide to catch the snowflakes. I smiled down at her, looking at her with care.
"Do you like the snow, princess?" I asked the little girl while bending down to reach her height. She nodded her head, her green eyes shining brightly into my brown ones. Those green eyes gave me goose bumps. They reminded me of somebody's so much and it was odd to see them on somebody else.
"I love it!" She shouted while spinning around in circles.
"Me too!" A man's voice boomed throughout the air. I turned around to see Harry walking towards me with two coffee mugs in his hands. Harry looked a bit different than what he usually looked like. His hair seemed to be less curly, but not that much less, and he looked more mature. His voice was a bit deeper, he was taller, and he had more muscles. "Here you go," He handed me a mug. "Hot chocolate with extra marshmallows." I smiled and thanked him before taking a small sip, trying not to burn my tongue.
"Can I have some too, Daddy?" The young girl asked Harry. I crinkled up my eyebrows once she called him "Daddy." It was a bit odd to see Harry as a father and I had some weird feeling in my stomach that I was the mother. Harry nodded his head and gave her the other mug.
"Thats what this one is for." She smiled up at him before getting all giddy and excited. "Be careful," Harry warned her as she brought the cup up to her mouth. "Its hot."
"I will." She said before running off to enjoy the weather.
"She's adorable." I revealed to Harry. He nodded his head with a grin.
"She is."
"She really likes the snow, huh?" Harry nodded his head.
"Yeah, she loves when the weather changes," He looked at me. "Like you." I crinkled up my nose.
"Since when am I fan of weather changes?" He raised his eyebrow up into the air.
"Since always."
"But I don't like it when summer leaves and winter comes." I told him.
"Yes, but you do like it when the leaves start to change color, the first snow fall comes, flowers start to bloom, and when the weather starts to get warm." Harry said. "You love the changes, you just don't like how long the weather stays for." I gave him a genuine smile.
"Thats true." I let out a sigh and took a sip of my delicious hot chocolate while looking at the little girl. "So is her favorite season winter?" Harry shook his head.
"Her favorite season is Autumn, but she just loves the snow." I nodded my head and smiled.
"Autumn is my favorite season too."
"I know," He let out a breath. "Thats why we-"
Beep, beep, beep
I opened up my eyes and jerked my body up as the alarm clock's buzzer repeated itself. I then noticed that it was empty in the hotel room and Harry was no longer in the bed with me. I crinkled up my eyebrows in confusion before shutting off the alarm clock and pulling the covers off of my body. I then walked towards the bathroom to see the door shut. The shower was on and I could hear a slight hum coming from the inside.
"Harry?" I knocked on the door. "Are you in there?"
"Yeah, sorry if the sound of me singing woke you." I let out a chuckle.
"It didn't." I confessed. "The alarm clock did."
"Damn it," I heard him groan. "I forgot to shut that off." He let out a sigh. "Sorry babe."
