It has been years since then. Looking back at it, Neji could say that his life in a nutshell was a wild rollercoaster of crazy events. Nobody would believe him if he told them that he and Tenten had switched bodies at one stage in their lives so he never told. From their argument to the switch to the crazy drama with Sasame and Tenten's father, Neji and Tenten's lives was nothing short of amusing.

Sasame was arrested for attempted murder amongst many things and obviously, the engagement between her and Neji was broken. Hiashi approved of Tenten when she was formally introduced as Neji's girlfriend. Hinata and Naruto got married, they being the first in their friend group to do so. The event was heartwarming and joyful.

It came as a surprise to know that Gaara and Naruto were childhood friends. Speaking of the redhead, he quit acting in favour of laying low. Fans went crazy, tears were shed but Gaara left the entertainment industry with an apology after which he disappeared without a trace.

Tenten's father was arrested for a reason Tenten wasn't sure of. She didn't care though, all that mattered was that she was never seeing the man again.

The news of NejiTen being a thing remained a hot topic for months. People could not just get over the fact that the nation's most popular mortal enemies were in a relationship.

It was Valentine's day today. Neji had planned something for his date with Tenten but he had kept it as a surprise from her. Tenten wondered what his great plan was that he kept it as a surprise. She tried to pry answers out of him but her boyfriend remained stubborn.

Tenten was in a light disguise that Neji chose. Her hair was down and a fake beauty mark was placed on her chin. Coupled with dark sunglasses, Tenten was good to go for the date...in which Neji was not picking her up. She wasn't allowed to take her car either. How would she even take her car when Neji refused to give her a location?!

Nevertheless, Tenten whipped out her phone and sent a text to the man.

Me:

Okay, I'm ready...whenever you are.

It was as if Neji was waiting for her text because of the speed at which a reply arrived.

Rapunzel:

Good! Just head to the Kaguya tree.

Tenten's brow raised. Kaguya tree? What gives? Shrugging, Tenten placed her phone inside her purse and set out. The bus ride was enjoyable save for the sight of couples shamelessly face sucking on the seats. She counted three. Other couples just held hands and wore matching Tees. Valentine spirit.

Speaking of Tees, Tenten was wearing the one Neji and her bought at the market on their first Valentine date together. He was the one that picked it.

She finally arrived at the large tree in the centre of Konoha town but there was no Neji to be seen. Tenten pouted. Where was he? She decided to wait under the tree for Neji so she went under its shade. A purple post it note caught her eye not only because it was the only note but because her name was on it.
