I Am You?! (NejiTen)

500 reads special

In celebration for getting 500 reads, I would be giving a one shot as per custom. This one is about ShikaTema. They're my favorite couple after NejiTen and are so cute and funny. I had this story idea before I wrote The Girl With Two Buns but I couldn't expatiate on it.

So this is a one shot featuring Temari as the dreaded boss of her company and Shikamaru as the lazy liaison between her company and another company. I hope you enjoy it.

Inside the Sabaku building, the workers could be seen lounging around and having light conversations. Laughter filled the air as the workers branched out in groups. Some could be found in the game lounge playing casino games, some (mostly women) at the relaxation center getting massages on reclining chairs, some at their work cubicles just lazing and gossiping while others were joking around.

It was a happy and peaceful environment until somebody burst through the glass doors of the building, panting as if he just ran a marathon and with wide scared eyes. "W-wind scythe!" He yelled. Immediately, the worker friendly environment of the firm changed into panic filled tension.

The workers scrambled like a flock chickens when a stone is thrown into their midst. Papers flew and shoes came off. Everyone tried their best to look organized and hard working like the overworked employees they were whilst doing it silently. They cleaned with practiced speed and arranged everything like they were on fire. They literally had one minute to arrange everything and make it seem like a typical office.

Everyone froze as the glass doors opened and a woman stepped in. Shoulder length sand blond hair bounced off her body with every step she took. Her lavender suit hugged her body in right places and proportions, bringing out her sexy figure but she wasn't a woman to mess with. She was like burning charcoal, beautiful to look at but dangerous to touch.

Her sharp green eyes pierced everything within her gaze, searching for anything that was out of place and causing her employees to shiver in fright. The forest orbs narrowed at a man standing in the middle of the hall looking like a deer caught in headlights. He was supposed to be working.

"Why are you not working?" Her steel like voice sent cold shivers down everyone's spines. The man before her trembled considerably as he sought for an excuse to use but nothing came into his mind. "I asked a question." The boss reminded.

"Y-yes ma'am! I went for a bio break ma'am." A reasonable excuse so it seems but it doesn't work on a certain Sabaku no Temari.

"If I remember clearly, the comfort room is that way." Manicured fingers pointed to her left. "But you are coming from this way." They pointed towards the lounge. "Or am I being delirious?" She asked sarcastically.
