Recap

Suddenly, the bedroom door is swung open, Julie standing in the doorway. The two ghosts jump, turning their heads towards Julie, who's eyes are wide and her mouth agape, staring right at her big sister.

Julie stares in disbelief. "Liz?"

End of recap.

Elizabeth's POV

I gape at my sister, not being able to find any words to fit this moment.

Instead, I start stuttering, "J-Julie? You can see me?" Julie nods, stuck in shock. She reaches her arm out to me and I do the same, both of us seemingly testing weather we could touch or not.

Our finger tips lightly graze each other and I grab her wrist, pulling her into my chest, our arms wrapping around each other. She begins to cry on my shoulder, both of us feeling the whole in our hearts start to fill.

I pull her face, wiping her tears, "I-I am so sorry, Jules. I-" Tears start to pour out of my eyes, "I never should have left. I didn't listen to you, any of you, and you guys were right and I-" I choke on my own sobs, not being able to speak anymore.

Julie shakes her head, "Liz, it's okay. We'll talk about this later." She gestures towards Luke, who's awkwardly looking around the room. I let out a small chuckle, grabbing his arm and pulling all of us into a group hug.

"You're having a group hug without us?!" Reggie complains from the doorway. Him and Alex immediately join in, the 5 of us tangling together. After two long years of wanting to be apart of a family again, here I was with the people I loved the most.

When the five of us pull apart, me and Julie are left staring and smiling at each other. Alex gives the other two boys a pointed look, telling them to leave, and in a flash the boys are gone.

"How long have you been around?" My little sister questions me.

I stare down, scared for her reaction, "Remember a little after I died when you read my diary? Yeah, I guess you summoned me or something like that. Kind of like how you did with the boys."

"Why didn't you tell me you were here? I mean, I guess before the guys you couldn't but why not after?" She says. See, my sister was a lot like Alex. She didn't handle anything well. Knowing her, she was going to be mad at me and the guys, feel bad, then get over it.

"Jules, please don't be mad at the guys. I made them swear to not tell you. I know it's hard to understand, but I know how hard it would have been for you. There was no way we could talk, it would have been torture for you." She nods at my words, letting out a sigh.

"Yeah, you're right. So, all those love songs in Luke's journal we're about you? And the reason you're room always smelled like a guys cologne? Wait does that mean Luke-" She gasps, "Oh my god! That's why Luke was never in the garage at night? He was in here wasn't he?!"

"How did you- never mind. It's good to be back, Jules." I pull my arm around her.

She laughs, "Tell me everything that I missed."

So, I did. From how charming Luke was, to the Hollywood Ghost Club, to her and Nick. We talked for hours. For years this is all I've ever wanted and at this very moment, I felt like nothing bad would ever happen. The clock read 3:46am and a knock on the door pulled us out of our conversation.

It was Luke. His eyes went wide and he started stuttering, "Oh uh. I was just, um, making sure you guys were okay." He scratches the back of his neck, his eyes darting around the room.
