3rd person POV

The four ghost sat around in the studio, having nothing better to do until Julie got home. Luke and Elizabeth were sat on the couch, Luke with his guitar, and Elizabeth was laid out with her legs on top of Luke's.

Elizabeth had lyrics swirling in her head and she was trying to put them together. Alex and Reggie were sleeping in the loft and the only sound in the studio was the slow strumming of the guitar.

Liz cracked her eyes open, peering at Luke. He shifted his gaze to her, giving her a warm smile.

She gave him puppy eyes, "Hey, pretty boy?"

"Yeah?" He set his guitar down, giving her his undivided attention.

"Can I borrow your notebook and pen?" He furrowed his eyebrows, "I would get mine but I'm too lazy." He nodded at the girl, standing up and retrieving the notebook.

Once he handed it to her, she began writing with Luke leaning over her shoulder.

"A million thoughts in my head
Should I let my heart keep listening
'Cause up 'til now I've walked the line
Nothing lost but something missing

I can't decide
What's wrong, what's right
Which way should I go

If only I knew what my heart was telling me
Don't know what I'm feeling
Is this just a dream?
Ah oh, yeah
If only I could read the signs in front of me
I could find the way to who I'm meant to be
Ah oh, if only
If only
If only

Every step, every word
With every hour I am falling in
To something new, something brave
To someone I, I have never been

I can't decide
What's wrong, what's right
Which way should I go

If only I knew what my heart was telling me
Don't know what I'm feeling
Is this just a dream?
Ah oh, yeah
If only I could read the signs in front of me
I could find the way to who I'm meant to be
Ah oh, if only
Yeah

Am I crazy? Maybe we could happen
Yeah
Will you still be with me when the magic's all run out?

If only I knew what my heart was telling me
Don't know what I'm feeling
Is this just a dream?
Ah oh
If only I could read the signs in front of me
I could find the way to who I'm meant to be
Ah oh

If only, yeah
If only, yeah
If only, yeah
If only, yeah

If only
If only"

She finished writing and leaned into Luke, who had wrapped his arm around her waist as she was writing.

He read through the finished lyrics and looked down at this girl in her arms, "That's beautiful."

She turned towards him, a question on the tip of her tongue. "Hey Luke?" He hummed in response, "What are we?"

He looked taken aback, "What do you mean?" The two weren't aware of the boys peering over the loft or the girl standing behind the doors.

"I don't know.." Liz began, "We've said we love each other but.. we haven't made things, you know, offical, I guess?" She looked away, feeling embarrassed. Luke used his thumb under her chin to bring her head back up.

"I do love you. I want this to be real. Elizabeth Molina, will you be my girl friend." The girl jumped on him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I love you too, and yes, I'll be your girlfriend." The two pulled away and placed their lips together.
