3rd person POV
Elizabeth still sat alone in the room, trying to lull her haunting thoughts away. She couldn't help the thoughts of her sister appearing in her mind. It was her second chance with her. The time to make things right, snatched out of her finger tips.
Luke hadn't spoken to anyone since Willie denied him information. He sat in Elizabeth bed, clutching her journal to his chest, tears streaming down his face. He missed the girl more than anything in the word.
Willie was comforting Alex down at the beach, Julie spent her time with Flynn, and Reggie was with Ray. Everyone had their own way of grieving and none of them were healthy. Julie refused to eat and Flynn, who now knew everything, was doing her best to be there for Julie.
Back at the ghost club, the door creaked open and Elizabeth lifted her head, only enough to see Caleb emerging.
He approached her slowly, a menacing smile on his face, "Hello, Elizabeth." He crouched in front of her, "Welcome back." Elizabeth couldn't help herself, she flung her hand at his face, making contact with his cheek, his head snapping to the right.
"Go to hell." She seethed at him. He grabbed her face, hard.
"Don't get snappy with me. I can take your precious boys away." Her face softened and the smile on his face grew, "That's more like it. Now, you, my dear, are going to make them join my club."
Elizabeth realized why she was here. She was bait; a pawn in Caleb's game. He couldn't get to the boys without her, but she would never let him touch them.
"No." Elizabeth told him, his face growing red with anger.
"Listen here," He harshly tugged on her face, "Either you help me get the boys, or I will destroy you. Think about poor Julie."
Elizabeth thought for a moment, about her sister. Julie survived two years without her and now Julie had the guys, who brought happiness to her. It was time to let her go.
"I am never going to let you have any of the boys and they will never join your stupid club." She hissed at the magician. He threw her back, her head hitting the concrete wall. The world became black to her.
Luke had fallen asleep for the first time in days, still curled up with Elizabeth's book. Alex and Willie shook the sleeping boy, making him jump.
"Beth?" Luke questioned, but was left with disappointment when his eyes adjusted on the two boys in front of him. He furrowed his eyebrows, confused.
"We're getting Elizabeth back." Willie said to Luke. At this point, he was all ears.
The plan was that tomorrow during the show, Willie would distract Caleb, while the boys found Elizabeth. Willie had told them which routes to take and Reggie was explaining the plan to Julie.
Julie wasn't allowed to go and her nerves were through the roof. It was hard for her to sleep that night, but luckily, her best friend was there for her, and as crazy as it sounded, she trusted the guys.
The next night was a new deal, when the boys arrived at the ghost club, Caleb was nowhere to be seen. The boys had successfully made it in, now waiting for Willie's cue.
Meanwhile, Caleb was occupied with Elizabeth.
"I will never help you!" Elizabeth screamed at the magician, receiving a jolt. She wasn't stamped, but the torture Caleb was putting her through was worse than every jolt combined. What the two ghosts hadn't known, was that Willie was creeping outside of the door.
Willie was panicking, so he did the only thing he thought he could.
He found the band that was preforming, "Um, hey, guys. Caleb wants to start now. Don't ask me why, but if I were you, I would start the song." The performers glanced at each other, scared of what the magician would do to them if they were late, so, they started playing.
The music caught Caleb's attention, who turned back to the defeated girl on the floor, "This isn't over. You got lucky, next time, I won't be so gentle." The magician left the girl on the floor, poofing onto the stage.
Willie gave the boys the signal, the three of them rushing to where Willie had said she would be.
Luke was the first to find her, "Beth!" He knelled next to the girl, "What did he do to you?"
Elizabeth started whimpering, "Luke, get out. It's not safe. Please I-"
Luke cut her off, holding her in his arms, "We're getting you out of here." Luke motioned for the other boys to come over, the two boys wrapping their arms around Luke, using all their energy to bring Liz home.
It worked, and the four ended up in Elizabeth's bed. The girl was exhausted, all of her energy being drained. She was passed out in Luke's arms, the three ghost letting out long breaths.
The next few days consisted of the boys and Julie being huddled around the bed, waiting for her to wake up, wondering if she would ever wake up.
